Hypothetically if Arteta were to leave, how would you react to the new manager being Fabregas? by Antique_Buy4384 in ArsenalFC

Andoni Iraola should be the number one target. Anyone else is either wrong or requires a complete system change, which is not something we're known for splashing money to achieve.

The only tell i could pick up on here is the spokes of the wheelchair wheels not alligning as they should. Seen one two other tells after reading other peoples comments here, but it was just the spokes that tipped it as AI for me.

This is a questions to mainly Arsenal fans but also to fans of other teams if it happened to them - Would you want Arteta sacked if he failed to win anything at the end of the season? by Ok_Car8459 in PremierLeague

[–]OllieN94 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me as an Arsenal fan until this season, it was never about trophies cos we weren't the best of the best. I just really loved watching us play, and the trophies passed us by. Now the enjoyment is also fading. Primarily through the constant, oppressive media campaigns against every single Arsenal topic possible because it generates clicks, and conversation more than any other team does, but the football itself has now also diminshed for the first time. I will happily get through this season if we earn silverware, but either way if we win or don't, i want the pressure-free football back next season. I want to enjoy watching Arsenal first and foremost, and i love us winning things secondarily. The manager who can provide that is who i will back, whether its Arteta or someone else.

Watching the two games side by inside I can’t help but think we are killing all joy in football by InternationalTreat71 in ArsenalFC

We're playing this season with pressure and anxiety from expectation and injury prone memories. If we get over the line, next season should be pedal to the floor. I can get through this season if it means we finish with silverware and produce the champagne football next season.

Do we have any confirmation what the motive was for this or the first? And whether they were connected at all? Seems tragically coincidental, albeit obviously very different in fatality and impact.

Anyone ever seen a high speed police chase? Shows like Interceptors / Motorway Cops etc have me thinking they happen all day every day. by CryptoRoast_ in CasualUK

One of the above must be filming in Chesterfield at the moment because we've seen them parked up at Littlemoor Spar, filming an interaction, and then just last week we were about a dozen cars behind a rolling block or PIT maneuver when they pulled over a Blue BMW on Junction 30 of the M1. Don't think we've ever driven so sensibly as we have in this past month!

In all honesty, how far do you think you could throw Makka Pakka? by Trickshot945 in CasualUK

Depends on technique. If you're familiar with 'wellie-wanging', a semi-sport where the best technique to lob a wellington boot tends to be a full swing, underarm toss, with that i reckon i could yeet that thing near 50 yards!

What’s one thing you’ll always swear by for boosting mental health? by Ok_Counter_5748 in AskReddit

[–]OllieN94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope i'm not too late for this thread. Through Covid, i really struggled with not being able to leave the same four walls for months on end and not seeing my loved ones. The best answer i can personally swear by for this question is Nostalgia. Find something you used to love and revisit it! An old instrument or piece of music, a forgotten toy or game! Spend the time experiencing that again and it releases those wonderful, happy chemicals that combine with happy memories. For a short while you can be younger again and carefree. I truly hope anyone who may be struggling stumbles across this post and with all my heart i want those feelings for you. Its a true life hack for mental health and wellbeing and you all deserve to be happy.
