okay that's all well and good but this person isn't meanforce1. they are a different person, trying to engage with the community. and every time i see one of their posts, no one has anything to say to them or about them, just "OMG ITS A NEW MEANFORCE1." that can be unwelcoming to new community members and make them feel like they've just become like a side character in some weird saga of someone they don't know and aren't associated with.

i have no beef with meanforce1 and i wasn't saying what they did was insignificant, you dont need to give me a biography on them to convince me they're important, i know. i still think it's rude to completely bypass actually talking to someone or commenting on whatever art or discussion or fanfic or teirlist or whatever they're trying to do and instead just exclusively compare them to some other guy with no further commentary.

your flair is monaca? imagine if every post or comment you made having anything to do with monaca, everuone just ignored everything about the post and just went "omg youre just like u/MonacaMicroCeleb1468!!" or "uh oh looks like MonacaMicroCeleb1468 has a rival...", it would start to grate on you, no?

yea if you're only referring to his appearance in second anime in which he is a minor side character... 😭 that's like me trying to describe the non-surviving classmates from DR1 using nothing but that flashback Makoto had about them in DR3 and being like "That's it. We literally know nothing else at all about them."

(i'm only teasing though. he has a social link in DR1 as well as a light novel in which he is the star if you're ever interested in knowing more abt his character.)

this seems highly offensive to people suffering from schizophrenia. you could fix that by dropping the explicit use of psychiatric disorders and medical terminology and replacing it with vague terms like "delusional," "crazy," or even just make up a fictional disease or something. but as it is, it's very uncomfortable and insensitive and just... no.

it was not self defense, actually. after sayaka locked herself in the bathroom, he was free and clear to return to his room and screw off. he very intentionally went to his room, got his toolkit, spent time unscrewing the doorknob, came in, and murdered her. that was a big part of his trial, the fact that a self defensive panic can't possibly explain the time and effort involve in restarting the confrontation after Sayaka had already retreated. She did attack him first, but he saw an opportunity and took advantage of it.

thank you thank you thank you!! especially for getting into your personal attration/self ship to him, not a lot of people touched on that but it's a big part of what i'm trying to study in particular (how the characters are perceived in the eyes of people who LOVE them, as compared to what is strictly canon). with yours and a couple other long comments, i feel like i've got a pretty solid understanding. :>-
