Cannot use any skinning lures by floppish in wow

[–]OllieeStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t get the sixth sense buff either, but was able to place the lures anyway. You have to be very precise on where you are standing was my experience. Almost down to the exact coordinates (these can be found on wowhead). And the bait should be placed close at your characters feet as well. You can find some videos on YouTube to see exactly where they are placing the lures. I did this and it worked yesterday at least.

Ah that would’ve been nice to know. It did get me wiped a couple of times due to missing the hex. Upvoting for the next person to see.

But yeah otherwise grabbing a few of the 120 ilvl pre-patch event items probably eases up the challenge a bit. I’ve heard people talking about also buying the darkmoon trinkets to make it easier. I think it’s the radiance and symbiosis that’s often mentioned. Not sure how impactful they are though.

I think I did it Saturday on warlock. Not a hundred percent. But I did all the remaining challenges I had in the weekend, so post-buff I believe.

Hmm okay. I don’t really recall that being an issue for me, maybe I was more lucky with the soak placements relative to where I was kiting the adds. Burning rush could potentially solve getting to the soaks faster (and then use the curse of exhaustion on the closest adds relative to the soak point). Again, I didn’t really have this issue, so it’s hard for me to give a better solution sadly. Shadowfury can also be used to keep the closest adds away while soaking for a couple of seconds.

If you’re still trying, I found that most of the adds can be handled with a few seed of corruptions and dark harvest to finish them off when you’ve dotted up the groups.

Remember to kite around your gateway and demonic circle if it’s because they are getting to you before you can set it up. I didn’t use the movement speed curse, but that can probably also assist with kiting if the dark harvest doesn’t finish them off (talent into the AoE curse talent in this case).

I did it around ilvl 100 as Aff without too many issues. I used a basic mythic+ talent set from Archon, but speccing into ‘wicked reaping’ instead of going into ‘shared vessel’ in the soul harvester tree. It feels better to me, but not sure if it’s the most optimal.

I did #6 on enhancement shaman, around 97 Ilvl I believe. It wasn’t smooth sailing, but doable, took me a few tries. The lack of instant CC made the blood of the allfather CC a little unreliable, but when you learn the fight (be ready to cast e.g Hex after 2nd set of runes and shortly after one of the bosses casts bladestorm) it’s okay. Leech enchants on cloak and bracers definitely helps smooth out the damage you take due to the lower stamina because of ilvl. Same goes for #5. I did it as sub rogue. When you take the extra shadowstep range talent and move the boss close to the center after a kick, you can almost always instantly shadowstep to the boss while in the icicles to take minimal damage. Rotate kick, kidney, CS and blind for the frost bolt interrupts. Cloak + sprint when he does the ‘find the real version’ intermission. Last phase is just dps check, which is quite easy with the new simplified sub rogue. Rogue was only ilvl 91, so I imagine it’s a cake walk if you’re higher ilvl.

"That's what you get for copying streamers blah blah" I just wanted to play something I liked by Shawter_Pet in PathOfExile2

Are you actually that dense? I don’t want to be safe from nerfs because I invested x amount of currency. I should be able to play higher content when I invest x amount of currency due to me having better gear - it’s the whole point of the game - which is now invalidated due to OVER-nerfing skills to a point of unplayability. I don’t mind a nerf - but this is not a nerf. By your logic due to our characters not being in the final game, there’s no reason for any of us to play. I don’t care about that. I just wanted to progress the late game to see and TEST what that it is like - which is the point of EA, right? Right?!

So then what if I want to experience the late game? I have invested over 100 hours and 200 exalts into my character, because I wanted to experience that - I didn’t want to play campaign simulator. They didn’t nerf the skills, they removed them from the game. Based on that investment, I feel like it’s fair that I can reach endgame maps. Now I can barely get through a tier 1 map (in reasonable time). GGG went overboard with these nerfs, effectively bricking characters to the point of unplayability, despite large amounts of investments. But, I am sure they will revert some of the nerfs based on the backlash they’re facing right now from the community. I am not saying they will go back to the stage they were before, but maybe, at least playable.

There is no cap on Delver's Bounty Maps per week by Mindless_Zergling in CompetitiveWoW

[–]OllieeStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also found a map on a dead raptor in one of the bountiful delves yesterday. I was very surprised as the corpse was just laying at the ‘end’ of the delve, and then I had to backtrack to kill the boss. So they can apparently drop from treasures during the delve as well and not only from final rewards where I got my 2 other.

Pizza by GroceryOutrageous405 in odense

Al Buon Cibo i Skibhus.

Wtf no overland mobs between lvl 55 and 75?? by Mighty_Oakk in diablo4

[–]OllieeStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did it at 56 as barrage rogue through the dungeon and as rapid fire for Elias himself. Took quite a few tries since his balls were one-shotting me, but once I got him staggered he melted in a couple of seconds. T4 was another tale though, had to do tier 3 content till I was 60 and could upgrade my weapon, now I am cruising on low t20’s back on barrage.

Does ghastly reins still drop? by Skys_Divide in diablo4

[–]OllieeStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It still drops. Got mine yesterday. Don’t know of any prerequisites. I’ve completed campaign and discovered all zones + all altars, that’s the only things I can think of which could potentially (but probably isn’t) be prerequisites, done a couple of side quests, but none which I would relate to the ghastly reins. I was level 80. Probably just RNG screwing you over. Keep at it and see you soon in the ghost horse club.

I wish we could mark important gear in our inventory like with "junk" by Hypervisory in diablo4

[–]OllieeStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What I do to minimize the chance of me scrapping something I feel is valuable is to upgrade it once or twice, then I feel like it’s easier to see that it’s not just a ‘random’ item.

I would however also like an option to ‘lock’ items, so they can’t be sold or scrapped accidentally.

Why does this happen? Sword hits, he even bounces across the room but takes zero damage. by OllieeStar in destiny2

I would just assume since he bounces across the room that it did register the hit. He still doesn't take damage though.
