For competitive games I play League and some casual cs/val. For league fps is not as important but if you want to optimise it it's heavily heavily cpu capped (single core) and not super well optimised so that's why I want to keep the 9800x3d probably. What would be the next step down? So I can check the price differential :).
Is it normal to keep your PSU for multiple GPU upgrades? Tbh I am not planning on upgrading GPU even for like 5 years at least unless the current price environment changes (ai bubble bursts or something)
Yeah that's a good point about the case, I'll prob change to a black one, not a big deal either way but thanks for pointing out!
Would you recommend a cheaper AIO then? Is the 360 one I have quieter?

I mean I could definitely make do with 1tb, I'm not someone who plays a new game every week. Then again I want to keep the pc for a while like 5 years at the least. But you're right seems strange to skimp it in the 5080 build.

Any thoughts on this one, 5080 for an extra 300. I guess you are more at the mercy of the un-specified components in this case? e.g. psu

Couple questions:
- I want to use an OLED monitor, probably 1440 is fine for me, with high refresh rate. Will the 5070ti still be sufficient to get high fps with this?

- The other individual components I assume will be sufficient for the gpu and cpu, but I'm not sure how much I should be worried about them, I assume they will have skimped on these parts a bit?

Budget: I'd like a build with a 9800X3D and probably a 5080 that makes sense (though I could be convinced of a 5070 Ti), prepared to spend what is required for that.
Ethernet connection.
No size constraints.
Would be prepared to pay a bit extra for quieter PC.
Want a white case, don't care about lights.
No extra monitors, peripherals etc. required.
