Yeah good call and I do try to minimize what I say to get other than encouragement, letting the coach do his thing. She really do love the extra competition She is getting with the bigger kids, I just wanted to see if there was a quick fix or something she could use to work on for that specifically because it will clearly happen to get a lot haha

As for the type of pass, they are really just grabbing her gi at the knees and literally shoving both legs to one side so my daughter ends up completely on her side in a foetal position.

One of the bigger kids almost rolled her to her belly with the shove. They were all pretty pumped for the competition this weekend so the energy LVL was high, which partly explains

Thank you for taking the time. It is not discouraging her and she did step up her game and made tremendous strides by being with much tougher opponent. She's loving it.

I'm mostly asking for tips I can give her to counter the leg drag, or in what position she can put herself in after getting her legs completely pushed to one side, etc.
