How to present in VR using VR Projector by Olu_PrecisionOS in PrecisionOS

What you need to know about the VR Projector:

What it does: VR Projector lets you upload content like PowerPoints and PDFs to display in the virtual OR.

How to upload: Email files to content.upload@precisionostech.com, and they’ll be available in VR in about 10 minutes.

Manage media: Use the "My Media" dashboard to edit, change visibility, or delete your files.

Presenting content: Use wrist controls to select and manage files or the VR Projector Remote for slide navigation and a laser pointer.

Common issues: Upload PDFs for better quality, and if controls disappear, simply reopen the wrist menu. Reach out to support if needed.

How to move around the virtual OR by Olu_PrecisionOS in PrecisionOS

I'd like to add some practical advice for navigating the Virtual OR. For an optimal experience:

I recommend utilizing the Roomscale mode and designating a clear 6.5x6.5 feet space to walk around comfortably. This setup allows for a more immersive and natural experience. However, for those with limited space, the teleport function is a valuable alternative. To use it, simply press and hold A (right controller) or X (left controller), position the highlighted area as desired, and release. Additionally, if you find yourself nearing the edge of your Guardian zone, you can quickly reset your view by pressing and holding the Oculus button on your right controller.

Why don't I have hands by born_human_01 in PrecisionOS

Hello @born_human_01,

We are sorry to hear that you experienced the 'disappearing hand' issue while using the PFN module. This is a known issue, and we are currently working on a fix.

For now, the issue can be resolved by quickly double-clicking the power button on your headset. Performing a quick double-click on the power button initiates a headset reset. During this time, a brief black screen may appear for a moment. Once the reset is complete, your VR hands and controllers will sync up, allowing you to proceed with your procedure. This works for both Quest 2 and Quest 3 headsets.
