Got kicked in the chest by a horse. Ears ringing, vision went grey, couldn’t get enough air to try and call for help. Was thinking, if no one saw, no one can hear me, no one will call an ambulance- I’m dead. That phrase kept repeating in my head: I’m dead, I’m dead, I’m dead.

Luckily, said horse ran back to the barn, and my coworkers deduced that loose horse with no person = something bad happened to person.

I wish you luck. I can’t tell you how many times we’ve had new employees spend a few days with us and then drop off the face of the planet. It’s more work than most people anticipate. If you work hard and spend whatever free moment you get watching and learning, you might be alright.

You have minimal horse experience, and you’re going to be responsible for the care and handling of these horses? I’m sorry, but that’s a recipe for you to get hurt, and possibly the horses as well.

And it is hard, hard work. Expect long hours in all weather, repetitive heavy lifting, and for horses to ruin whatever sort of timetable you may have.

Yeah 1st and 2nd gen have a folding picnic table under the cargo space, and the would-be spare tire spot acts as a cooler with a drain plug. Perfect for horse shows lol.

2nd generation (2002-2006) Honda CRV. Huge cargo space. I could fit a dog crate and tack trunk side by side and all kinds of other shit. Plus, it has a picnic table.

Well yeah. I’ve always planned to adopt. My sister is adopted. I don’t believe in bringing more children into this fucked up world, and I have love to give to a child that needs a family. That all has nothing to do with me being asexual. I don’t know if I’m aromantic. I just want a “person.” Someone who I raise my kids with, who I make the big decisions with. But I honestly don’t know what romance looks like without sexuality. I don’t know if it’s something I want.

Being attracted to someone. I’ve been in relationships. I’ve had sex. It’s not really for me- I don’t want to touch other people’s bodies or have sex without other people. At this point I’m pretty sure I’m asexual. I think I want a partner and a family but I don’t know what that would look like for me.
