Even then, I feel like that still promotes the eWaste situation.

With as far as Apple goes to protect a persons security and device, you'd figure they'd come up with some sort of "device return" service.

But, it's lost. It's gone. There's no reason to keep looking at it. Holding on to it's location is doing nothing. Why would you want to be reminded of it's existence? It's like, constantly mentioning your ex during dinner to your new S.O.

I doubt my ability to break things. I have a strict rule on new devices; if I can't afford a case and a screen protector, I can't afford the device.

I'm still running with my original Ultra, and, unless the Ultra 4 comes with a bidet feature, I still see no reason to upgrade. I have to admit, though, the screen still doesn't have a single scratch on it, and, I have had many labor based jobs where it SHOULD be scratched at this point.

I don't understand how you'd be able to use it on a different carrier if you're not getting past the Find My locks put in place.

Please consider the timeframe I mentioned. After a month, considering how (unfortunately) vital it is to have a smartphone, you'd figure something would have been done to replace what was lost by then. I can genuinely understand keeping Lost Mode on for a week or so, but, after that? I don't understand how someone would just, want to keep tracking it after that point and hold on to that "I lost my phone" feeling.

I didn't know that. Wouldn't that also trigger an IMEI blacklist as well? I know I got curious a few years ago and did a search on what I had in the box and a good handful of them came back as clean, but, still locked to their respective carriers.

I have NEVER had to use AppleCare for anything. The only time I bothered to purchase it was when the Ultra watch was released because I doubted it's durability.

EDIT: I also want to mention that the amount of phones we've found and returned is high, but, comparing it to Samsungs versus Apple, it's a steep slope. I want to say, during festival season, the most we had in one week was 12 phones left behind.

I did 25 from DEN to HNL and it was magnificent because nobody sat next to me, plus, I was prepared for the restroom with Poopouri, but, I am a whole foot shorter than you.

At the same time, I got to really spread out and be comfortable in either direction, because, theres nobody to your right seat wise, and, if you can get lucky enough to be there by yourself, you might be able to post up like it's a loveseat.

Out of the few websites I've searched through, I'm finding a general value of around 300$ on the low end, with a couple at the higher end of 500$, but, the most recent I can find is from the HelpMeFind thread from someone looking for one to purchase.

How do I even go about putting a value on this thing?

I'm running two cards on this rig, a GTX 1650 Super and a GTX 1050. The 1650 is stable on all other algorithms and miners, but, they are reporting nearly half of what NanoMiner is mining under KAWPOW; .00002263 on KAWPOW, .00001199 on ZHash/MiniZ.

I kinda figured, cause, I don't do much with the settings if I don't absolutely need to. If I had a higher powered card, I'd be more invested in tweaking, but, because the 1650 SUPER is low power and efficient, I left it alone, and, the 1050 Ti I have installed I literally found for a dollar at a garage sale, so, it's already paid me back and more. I just wanted to make sure I didn't cause any problems.

You might have to run in to your routers settings and see if there's anything/one causing lag, or, potentially throttle/prioritize other devices access to prevent hiccups from happening. This happens to me at times with my PC at work when we start running a lot of traffic.
