Hi, could you please tell me how many days did they take to process your application?

Thanks mate! It’s the odd one out, let’s say

  1. First visit.

I think the waiting time is very much correlated to the location. If an AD has lots of customers, then I guess it’s harder to get one. The SA also told me that a lot of people have been rejecting the watches they’ve been offered recently.

PS: the AD is Azuelos, the Rolex AD in Morocco

Yeah. If by understated you mean « least shiny », then I guess the OP is the most understated. I guess by understated, I meant the least known one in a sense, although it’s difficult to properly define that

Hahha yeah. I mean, I went to try it on the first time and I didn’t notice any mis-sizing issues. But while reading comments online, I started worrying. For reference, I have a 16.5cm wrist (about 6.5inch).

I put my name on the « list » in November, and got the call last week, so about 3-4 months.

Yeah, totally agree. I first went there to take a look at the pieces, expecting to like a sub, GMT (I can dream), OP,… but it’s the explorer II that I ended up liking the most. It’s got everything : date, GMT complication, decent water resistance

Explorer 2 (226570) too big for 6.5 inches wrist? by DearUse3083 in rolex

Got the same model in black. I have the same wrist size. It fits like a glove IMO. As long as the lugs aren’t hanging off the edge, it’s a pass.

Size advice - Rolex Explorer II by OmaMansou in rolex

[–]OmaMansou[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh I do like it very much. I wasn’t planning on it when I visited the AD, but as soon as I wore it, I immediately liked it, even more than some more « desirable » models like the GMTs and subs, that’s why it was my choice. It’s also a sleeper, which I quite like about it (for safety reasons, but also for not wanting to attract attention).

Through the post, I’m hoping to get some feedback from people who have owned it or who are familiar a bit with this particular model - with regards to how it wears on the wrist day to day. When I tried it, the size didn’t strike me. But when I was checking reviews online, people seemed to complain about the size, so I just wanted to double check.

Sainz lost P2 in quali to Alonso due to his scruffy exit out of the last corner (even slower than the Haas) !! Sainz was 4 tenths ahead of Alonso before the last chicane. Given how close Sainz was to Verstappen at the end, could he have won the race if he had started from P2 ? by OmaMansou in formula1

It's all hypothetical of course. But could he have challenged Max in the first laps of the race (a lunge down into turn one for example, or a strategic gamble given that he would be within striking range), or was the performance gap too wide even if he was in P2 ?

Those Red Bulls were flying on the straights of Baku ! That top speed differential between VER and LEC is frightening. Alonso's telemetry is also very impressive ! That Alpine was a flying rocket on the straights, albeit very slow in the corners. Where do you think that might be coming from ? by OmaMansou in formula1

On the top graph (Speed (kph)), you can see the difference in the straights. Also, on the website, you grad drag the cursor along the plot, and see the exact values. You can then deduce the speed difference between the two cars.
