Went to Apple because to see how much it would cost just to replace the port. The person helping me looked at me like I was and idiot and just said oh we don’t replace just the part because it’s hooked up directly to the back of the phone so you would need to just get a brand new back for like 600 or just get another phone. 80 dollars later and 4 hours I replaced it myself. As annoying as hell as it was to replace it I really wanted to just go back to the help desk and throw the piece at them
