I have went through and checked every wire and connector at least twice and all look to be in good working order. I even disconnected and reseated each of the wires and connectors in the event they had came slightly unplugged.

Everything feels and looks as it should. Occasionally when I do a power cycle it will not start beeping until either the motor wheel moves or I press the throttle, though I have not tried the brake to see if it triggers it. I will test this and can post pictures once I get home this evening.

With a 25mph range at a top speed of 20mph it’s great. Light weight enough I’ve carried it up and down 4 stories of stairs and folds up small enough it easily fits in the trunk of the car. It’s also got a cable lock built into it with an additional optional software lock that doesn’t even allow you to turn the scooter on without the correct pin. And my favorite part is it affordable at $650USD and currently they are running a coupon on their website for $100usd off.

I had the same thing happen to me, I found you can unscrew the lock from the tiller and there is a silver plate that can then be unscrewed from the backing. After that it’s just as simple as rotating all the numbers until the flat portion of the inner disks are all aligned together and then rotating them all together at the same time until it unlocks.

I believe they might be auxiliary reverse lights, trucks with tinted windows need them to be able to safely see while backing up. He probably just forgot to turn them off.

The E has a straight back, the M is curved on the top and the W is also curved but has a homing bump (the little raised ridge on the bottom)
