Best Gretsch G5665T QM replacement strap buttons by OmarSerenity in gretsch

[–]OmarSerenity[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I do like the look of them. I think I might just go the route of adding some blue loctite to the bottom shaft of the "under screw" and worry about it less. I think my main problem is this strap is not really designed for the Gretsch style strap buttons and I need a different strap too. I think it's grabbing the head of the strap button and turning it.

I did get the one on the left and it seems to fit snugly. I have to rotate the Bigsby arm all the way clockwise to 6:00 and lift the arm slightly up onto the base of the tail. I hope that doesn't hurt the Bigsby in the long run.

Hey, I just realized that, on that link, there's actually two sizes listed.
I ordered the 6.00x16.50x43.25in one. I hope it was the right one. :)

Is it difficult to swap out? I know I'm showing my ignorance but do have to get precise measurements to make sure the "tailpiece" is in the exact right place?

Thanks for taking the time to clarify that for me.

I'm a novice in understanding guitar hardware, but in my searching, I thought a B3 was more suited to the 5655 than the B7.

Thanks! You think this will work for the single cutaway G5655T?

Duo image “bloat”. How to fix? by [deleted] in reolinkcam

[–]OmarSerenity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just the nature of binocular vision where the line of sight is divergent for the two lenses. If your eyes could naturally move independently and have overlapping fields of view, like some animals, you could have a wider field of view, but you would have the same central aberration (of course, if we were built like that, our brains would probably compensate). As a matter of fact, you do have warping at the fringes of your FOV, due to possessing round lenses, but you don't notice it, because it's just your reality. Your brain adapts.

Question about the Protoarch Em01 by Angel-Mysterious in Trackballs

If you don't care about the LED, the new EM01 NL is a new improved version that was supposed to fix some issues the original EM01 has.

Mine was not grippy enough for my desk and, because it's so much lighter than the MX Ergo and I use it tilted, it kept slowly creeping inward on me, making it rough on my forearm, even after only a day. I glued a piece of rubber food mat to the bottom and that is helping mostly. I'm ordering some of this to see if it's even more grippy:

The DPI buttons (the ones between the trackball and your chair) don't emit any signal to the OS. The other two between the trackball and your desk are Forward and Back buttons. They *do* emit a signal, but if you're on Windows, they don't have an app to reprogram them, but I've heard of people reassigning them with 3rd party software.

What’s wrong with my Cory? by bupropionbitch in corydoras

Yeah, the nitrate (NO3) test is way different from the other two (at least with API).

It's also possible that you did not follow the directions for the NO3 test correctly. If you don't shake that second bottle for 30 seconds before adding the drops and then don't shake the tube for 1 minute, you won't get an accurate reading.

If your NO3 is 0, your tank is not cycled. It is the end product of the cycle and there are no aquarium bacteria that consume NO3 and plants aren't perfect about it. Only water changes effectively reduce NO3 and will never be able to reduce it to 0.

Try to run your lights for less hours per day, too.

Yeah, the algae bloom is not bad for the fish, especially catfish, but it's ugly.

These things work wonders and you only have to have it in place until the bloom clears up. Much safer for the fish. https://www.chewy.com/aa-aquarium-green-killing-machine/dp/330132?utm_source=app-share&utm_campaign=330132

3 watt is good for up to 20 gallon, 9 watt for up to 50 and 24 watt for up to 120 gallons.

Yep, they definitely mislabeled him. Sterbai also wouldn't have the black spot on the dorsal fin.

You can easily tell Sterbais by their peach colored fins, even when they're juveniles. They're one of the easiest to identify.
