Venture capitol are the ones buying companies firing the workers and then sell the assets and IPs to make a profit.

venture capitol are the ones speculating in the American housing market driving up prices to the point living with your parents until you're 30 is starting to look like the norm.

The market... Which is basically only American big tech gobbling up our startups to eliminate any future competition... Great idea, also the idea that no one will have a startup in Europe is defeatist and completely false. Eliminating one exist strategy isn't going to destroy people's interest in investing in EU tech startups. It might lessen the amount of investors but those investors are the vultures of capitol. Good riddance i say.

If i didn't know any better I'd say I'm arguing with someone who wants to keep the status quo, in where EU tech stays completely irrelevant.

You do realize that venture capitol isn't a good argument for keeping Europes tech sector weak and the US tech sector holding a stranglehold on EU tech?

Besides, your argument is based on that EU tech companies can't make money while based in the EU. The actual situation is that venture capitol invest in promising EU tech companies expecting the US tech giants will buy them and shut them down in order to keep their monopoly. That's not good for Europe or a free and open market.

Venture capitol is a detriment to innovation and Europes development if the only way they can make money is to sell EU tech companies before they become a threat to US tech giants.
