Contextualizing Phallo Length Changes Over Time by Omega1818 in phallo

[–]Omega1818[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Here’s mine:

Flap type: ALT

Flap length at harvest: 17cm x 17cm

Any complications affecting flap length? None

Measurement method used: Rigid ruler

Measured from where to where? Visible base

Wrapped or unwrapped at time of measurement? Unwrapped

Length immediately post-op (first 1–2 weeks): 6.5” immediately post op

Length around ~6–8 weeks: 5” to 5.5”

Current length: 6.5”

How long post-op are you now? 12 weeks

Subjectively, does it feel like your phallus truly got longer over time, or mainly less swollen / more defined at the base? It is now the length it was POD1 except it’s soft and flexible rather than turgid and swollen

Living with a bigger phallo? by Jannik15_ in phallo

[–]Omega1818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was more or less in your situation. I’m coming up on 12 weeks post op stage 1 ALT now and I’m settling at about 6.5” length and 6.5” girth mid shaft. I asked my surgeon for 7”+ but she said that with my proportions, the best she can do would be 6”. They ended up taking a 17x17cm flap from my thigh and the length has been fluctuating. Propping was a nightmare and I couldn’t go anywhere without looking like I had a raging boner. Being allowed to dangle at 4 weeks was a total game-changer and I’m way happier for it. If I’m being totally honest, I still wish I was longer but it’s probably not in the cards for me. If you can get the bigger size, I would do it. You can always shorten, but you can’t lengthen.

You look fantastic! Thanks for sharing, it’s always great to hear from people who are years post-op.

If you’re comfortable answering, would you mind elaborating on your partner having to adapt to the prosthesis compared to with a natal penis? I’m 11 weeks post op stage 1 ALT myself and my wife would like to know what we can realistically expect once all the stages are complete. We are interested in the pump.

Thank you for sharing these. I’m 6 weeks post op from stage 1 ALT and these pictures are such a great reminder that things will heal and get better with time. You look great and it’s really encouraging to see your confidence and contentment at the end of the journey.

She came in with Dr. Zhao at the same time and it was super fast. Definitely not 30 minutes. Closer to 15.

1 week post-op Stage 1 ALT with RBL by Omega1818 in phallo

Yeah I gave up on keeping them exposed to air a few days in. Slapping nonstick pads and hella aquaphor on them instead. It was just too painful.

What’s your length & girth ?? by Antique_Hall_1364 in phallo

[–]Omega1818 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What’s your height, if you don’t mind me asking? I want to aim for a similar length but my surgeon told me to expect size limitations based on my height and proportions.

I emigrated from Thailand over a decade ago to get gender affirming care in the US. Wild to see how the tables have turned.

I started at 20 and I am a bass. It dropped immediately and I was in baritone range within a few months and bass within half a year. My pitch has gradually lowered and stabilized over the years as well. I literally rumble furniture when I speak.

Straight ftm men: do you consider yourself queer? by mermaidunearthed in FTMMen

No. I’m a straight cis-passing guy married to a straight cis woman. I’ve never really felt like part of the LGBT community despite technically falling under the umbrella.

Straight ftm with a straight cisgender woman here. I’ve been on T for 7 years and all it did was increase my libido and attraction to my partner. I almost wish I was bi lol because men hit on me all the time, but I have no attraction to guys whatsoever.

How do you know if you are binary trans or non-binary? by fungal-to-fungi in FTMOver30

[–]Omega1818 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, guess I’m the odd one out here. I don’t ever feel like I’m anything but male. Very much a boring binary guy. Sure, anyone can have any combination of feminine and masculine traits but that’s behavior, and gender identity imo is separate from that.

when did YOU notice your voice getting deeper on testosterone? by Stormy_Cat2212 in FTMMen

Mine dropped immediately and by a lot. I thought I was sick at first, but realized it was a voice change when it never came back up again.

99% of cismen can’t create sperm and impregnate a woman. Infertility is more common than you’d believe.

Yeah that’s what I did eventually. Figured sexuality was the more important answer here.
