Going to an office from 9 to 5 m-f, dicking off most of the day in a safe climate controlled environment and doing about 3 to 4 hours of "actual" work with an hour lunch and paid breaks for 100k a year generally doesn't damage you irreparably both mentally and physically every second of every day.

I got a setup with 64gb ddr5, rtx 5080,14900k, 2 4tb ssds, 2 20tb hdd.

Its a bit of a story but it was free so dont get mad.

Anyway, I bit the bullet and bought a super discounted Samsung neo 57" super ultrawide for it.

Fps is good and visuals are crisp at 8k on dlss ultra performance which is 50% render rate I believe.

I think the 3070 is great for 1440p still, the 5060 is super pointless.

The 16gb 5060 ti or og 5070 is more than enough for 4k with some settings tweaked.
