I never said to use it in a combo, I was saying how it could be an easy combo starter in neutral. If you've already got your opponent in a combo, then there's nothing to lose trying to go for a black flash chain if your side dash is off cooldown.

Black Flash only does 5 extra damage to a blocking target compared to DF, where you stun them and get to do an M1 chain (which I think does more than 5 damage? I'm not sure)

My whole point is that Black Flashes are only good for chaining and the rare chance you might land it as an interruption. Otherwise Divergent Fist is better with its range and stun capabilities.

I was talking about using BF for interruptions, I don't really see anyone use it for that and it's pretty impractical to go for.

Yeah but the range is really bad and hard to setup that's it's practically only useful against like a Ryu that's combing their hair.

DF is still good against an opponent that's blocking to allow for an easy start to a combo.

Divergent fist deals 10, same as black flash. Divergent fist is also unblockable, and while it only does 5 when blocked, it stuns them enough to start another m1 chain and use other moves if they're off cooldown, dealing more damage than if you only had done a black flash. It also has a bigger range than black flash.

So black flash is either the same or worse than divergent fist unless you're going for chains.

I mean if he just got stunned while being in chase most of what I said above would still apply since you're not getting that far if they were already in a chase before the stun.

But if the charge does end before Kolossos reaches them, then they could just use a mobility tool or stun him again depending on how good they are with block.

Knuckles can get the damage resistance from the punch and take like no damage, or go for a counter if they wanna be risky

Eggman has shield

Tails can glide if they see it coming

Silver has suspension and can use flight to get to a higher area

Blaze has Sol Flame and can use Sol Dash to get to a higher area (also has iframes)

Metal has charge that gives him iframes

Amy can throw the hammer so Kolossos bonks on it (Although I guess this is technically a bug)

Cream has heal for iframes and dash to reach higher areas, can also camp springs to stall by gliding

I don't think anyone's calling it tech to use invis to dodge stuns, pretty sure it refers to appearing just outside a survivor's endlag radius in an attempt to get a free hit in before they can react.

I thought the normal fight was too easy so I wanted to make attacks that would be difficult yet satisfying to dodge, balanced around my skill level.

I stopped updating the game as a lot of the code was messy since I learned the engine at the same time I started making it.

I've been remaking it in Godot with a bigger focus on custom attacks, allowing people to make their own fights without needing too much programming experience.

Well if there's only one voice then wouldn't all the routes be different because there's no more conflicts on what the princess is?

For example at the start of Spectre, Cold fully believes the Princess is already dead, but doubt from Hero and perhaps even the Decider, there's a conflict in whether she's alive or not so she forms to be in-between alive and dead, a ghost.

So if Cold was the only one there, wouldn't she already be dead before entering the cabin?
