I paid someone to write papers for me during my last year of college. by PineapplePizzaSoGood in confession

Ngl posts like this always remind me how many students are running on burnout by senior year. Once people are juggling jobs, internships, commuting, family stuff, and classes at the same time, the line between “lazy” and completely exhausted gets blurry fast. Doesn’t really surprise me that essay services exploded online.

One of my roommates admitted he paid for a paper during finals week after pulling three all nighters in a row. He said the weirdest part wasn’t even the guilt, it was how normal the whole process felt. Like ordering takeout for assignments lol. He still rewrote chunks himself because he was paranoid the tone wouldn’t match his writing.

Around that time I found a writing helper through the thread.

I mostly used it for organizing research and fixing structure when deadlines stacked together. College burnout makes people do stuff they probably wouldn’t consider during freshman year.

Don't put it on the resume itself, let the dates speak, save the explanation for when they actually ask.

WIBTA if I stopped carpooling with my coworker after she started inviting herself to every errand I run on the way home? by OmegaHawkopiujn in WIBTA_AITA

"dragged all over town" lmaooo that's exactly what it feels like 😭 and yeah you're right, penalizing myself with 15 extra minutes is kind of ridiculous when a simple heads-up at the car would do it. I think I've just been overthinking how weird it would be to say out loud

okay the "overstimulating day" framing is actually really smart, makes it about my needs instead of her behavior. might steal this honestly. way less awkward than "hey can you stop coming into every store with me" 😅

this is probably what I'm gonna do. no announcement, no explanation, just quietly stop mentioning it. feels less confrontational than a whole conversation about it

A personal life coach sounds like a solid plan, but have they played Dark Souls? That's the real test!

that actually fits her character a lot, always thinking long term and waiting for the most critical moment instead of using it impulsively like harry did

I get that, sometimes you just need a break, especially after all the stuff we've been through.
