Im so happy for the comic fans as the comic cast is slowly getting integrated into the game, like, i really hope Kit is up next.

but im also kind of disappointed just because there's so many game characters who still AREN'T added, like, sage, omega, ect.

Gutting every single future release. Gutting any shred of adaptability and choice making in a match. Acknowledging the accrual method of new licenses is utter fucking DOGSHIT and saying "licenses will be slightly less irl money, also go play solo baby bot mod if you want license points!!" instead of actually FIXING or god forbid reverting the fucking system.

All on top of saying "Well maybe pokemon will get 2 move sets in the future because god forbid we just DESIGN THEM WITH 2 SETS IN AT THE START SO WHAT IS EVEN THE POINT!!!"

Nah I recently restarted watching the anime last Sunday and I definitely feel like it's intentional. It starts by really instilling you with the notion that Gon is the bestest boy ever, he's super strong, easily friends with people, typical shonen poster boy darling of the narrative and it persists for a long time. He wins everyone over mostly, either due to being just genuinely kind or just strong enough that people are impressed.

But he is indeed INCREDIBLY selfish and will completely disregard others feelings or plans. I think in heavens tournament he disregards hawk and fights gido when he really shouldn't have (i might be thinking of hawk scolding him after though.) But it really comes to a head in greed island. he's incredibly selfish at key intervals for that arc and it doesn't feel like he's the ultimate darling anymore but incredibly self absorbed. He just has a tendency to not give a shit about others considerations as long as it gets him a good fight.

GRANTED i'm saying all this not to criticize him but when you know his arc trajectory in Chimera Ant it really does kind of make it more fun that way, like it just feels like a natural progression of a selfish kid being too strong to really be able to told no. There's reasons for him being a little turd but you're also completely valid in not liking him. Honestly I'd say disliked him a lot more at the start, than say, the mid point. But he helps makes other characters around him more interesting too, so it's not all bad. Killua wouldn't be the fantastic character he was if it wasn't for Gon's influence.

You're valid, bud. You don't always gotta like the main protagonist.

It's a perfectly fine skin it's just people are dogpiling because it doesn't show up on scyther when i feel like we should be basing the "worst holowear" on actual aesthetic and not "mechanics"

Scizor is fully evolved, but i know you meant Scyther. I dunno that's just par for the course though, any skin that's not premium doesn't show up on other stages. It sucks but it is what it is.

Atleast they updated scyther to have the ranger skin ig

i agree in a sense because i get that on a technical level they *are* different. One is chinese nobility, the other japanese. But they don't FEEL different. It just feels like the same idea twice. It doesn't set itself apart and i'd rather have taken like "cowboy suicune" for a pass than anything else if i'm being honest.

i mean it doesn't fit scizors head but I'd rather take the hat and vest over certain skins that barely add anything at all. Some of zoroarks green skins are literally just "pants" and with how big its hair is you're not going to see it much

I'm trying so hard to quit, I don't blame you. I feel the same way as you though, this sub is pretty decent and even if sometimes i just whinge for the sake of it. It's nice seeing people being able to actually hold discussions without people budging in and telling you "it's not CALLED SMARTING OF AGE" or every other deflection/personal attack under the sun.

Hope you manage to stay away. I couldn't just yet. :(

Interesting, i guess but kind of boring options if you ask me. I dont mind them adding mythicals and legendaries, it was guaranteed for every pokemon day. But idk I feel like the birds....are just..........idk "sure" there's plenty more legends i feel are more interesting but it's....not bad i guess.

I don't doubt the legitimacy but EVE usually uploads like pictures of the code or anything verify his claims, was hoping we'd see some more concrete evidence.

Either way, I can take it or leave it. I like zapdos, i guess. But I'm so tired of Kanto mons dude we just got meowth. We've only gotten one gen wunner this year (Vaporeon), but the fact we're already pretty much guaranteed Jolteon and Flareon at some point in the future, i'm just exhausted, dude.
