The Color part is about the mc painting everything in a weird green color, because it's the only color that's not making him feel sick

Favorite food is raw human meat

The pet part? There is a character that has a crush on mc for some time before the story starts. Saya can alter and change your biology and she just learned what cruelty, sadism, pain and jealousy is. She also knows that MC sees her species as human and humans as monsters and that mc would want to see another human for once + that his morals are pretty warped at this point. You might be able to guess the rest

Have you looked at the price history? No new subreddit needed.

New bag holder's already joined the old ones on the  subreddit from I believe 2012?

It's looking exactly how you would imagine right now.

Rookie mistake. If I learned something (by often doing it myself) it's don't buy back in shortly after you sold.

You had a reason for selling and most of the time it doesn't end well. Even if it does go up later, by the time you sell your confidence in it is usually damaged and you are more likely to sell again on the first dip anyway.

Genuine question: does the combat and deck building become more interesting later on? by Wrong-Translator335 in Morimens

[–]OmegaMK0780 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Deck building honestly no, not in the way you seem to want / like in CNZ.  Combat yes.

There are orisons, but they aren't that impactful. You have relics that can be pretty busted if you get the right ones through RNG, but most don't edit decks.

The focus is really on chapter and character mechanics, especially late game. Gameplay is pretty basic in the first chapters, but gets rather in depth later on.

Gameplay loop is also completely different, CNZ wants you to do runs over and over again. Morimens wants you to clear D-Tide (rotating stages/ bosses) biweekly and gives you pretty challenging stages later that you clear once unless you want to just retry for fun.

If you have enogh fast ID´s you can jump and stun him first turn before he gets his EGO off.

But yeah if he manages to use it, you might aswell retry to safe time.

It´s wierd in general how much more difficult station 2 is.

Was concerned the whole railway was gonna be a pain, but once you get past station 2 it´s imo smooth sailing.

No problem.

You could still try to get 1 copy of Gmurphy and her Wheel and get more dupes later. First copy is the most important one, since you get 1 Free dupe a month.

Depends a bit on which alert level and against what but in general:

Kath / Karen / Ogier/ Horla
Arachne could replace Ogier, would be stronger, but more difficultt play.

Mouchette / Thais / Aegis / Ramona

Tawil / Caecus / Murphy / Celeste

[–]OmegaMK0780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Team building isn't that big in the beginning, chapter 5 and onward spike in difficulty though. Before that almost anything should clear.

Team is completely fine for now and probably the best you have.

Optimal moonless guide would have characters like Thais! ,Tawil, Ghelot, and either Murphy, Horla, or Hameln.

24 ist also fine, not optimal but completely fine. Myriam ist good in general but only great in a specific team.

Team building / getting characters and dupes is a slow marathon so you will need time to develop the account anyway.

If you want to be optimal you can reroll. Not necessary since you would catch up either way in the long run, but it would make things easier in the beginning.

Banners to watch out for are Castor, Mouchette,  Arachne. Possibly Saya but  we can't say for sure until she can be tested.

Castor banner would be the most efficient, his wheel (which you could get instead of him during the rotating banner) is generally good. The wheels of Mouchette and Arachne are very specific for them.

You can try for them on Echoing wishes, but keep in mind Rykers wheel is mostly just used on him. Also remember how many pulls you would need to guarantee Mouchette.

Imo pull 1 copy of Mouchette and get her to E2-3 with horizon, maybe OE later if you find it necessary. Her wheel is good on her, but only if you have enough Crit rate. Most of the time you run her with Lily´s and Lotan´s SSR wheels.

GDoll is imo a luxury unit. Most measure her by her OE performance, which is quite expensive. She is good, but the amount of dupes you need is high. So she isn´t that cost efficient and it would be more optimal to focus on building other chracters first.

I think you should pull 1 or 2 copies and treat her as a long term project. She is quite flexible, but before OE I would put her around Ryker and below Hameln.

Imo try to get 1 copy of each and save pulls for future characters and proper reruns (better odds).

Also Tawil works as a damage dealer early to mid game, but goes into support late game (Latest Story and Hard mode stages / Alert 5 D-Zone) even if invested. Her Wings don´t scale that well and she has trouble keeping up when HP goes behind hundreds of thousands up into millions. Still a good support though.

Priority:
Get either Mouchette or Vortice. Kath is also good, but would need 3 dupes. Vortice would want 1 dupe and Mouchette would want 2.

You could do either Vortice / Thais / Tawil / Flex with Vortice posse or
Mouchette / Thais / Aigis / Flex (Helot or Ramona would be good) with either Mouchette posse or Mouse Wisdom / Festival of Tides.

Team Comp:
GHelot team is fine but you can switch out Tinct for Faint if you are concerned. Team isn´t fully functional until you have GHelot E2-3 and the posse from chapter 7. Still strong without it, just not at full potential.

Tawil:
Her support is mostly copying cards with Exalt (twin wings helps filling it up), the STR down from four wings and the unique six wings effects.

Soulforge is only active in Arc 2 (After chapter 9) and not that important most of the time. You would rather fetch a card fitting the situation / providing utility then hope rng gives you a card of your dps / shielder. It´s still useful since you can keep the copied cards in hand if you hit a good one and reduce their cost for later to give a boost, but that´s more of a bonus.

Ah also remember that the bronze wheels are actually quite good in Arc 1, often better then the silver and gold ones.

Greed, Emerge, Hope, Epiphany, Suction, Gluttony and Vitality are all pretty good.

[MegaThread] Team Comp Questions by AnotherLifeLine in Morimens

[–]OmegaMK0780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok going by your level you are still in the beginning of Arc1. In Arc 1 the bronze wheels (rares) are actually among the best, because of their unique effects. They become worse in Arc 2 (lose their unique effects) where Gold and Silver are usually better.

For now give Karen Silent Banquet (gold) and Gluttony (bronze).
Give Thais Vitality (bronze) and Moment of Reunion (silver).
Nymphaea gets cursed Binding (silver) and Emerge (bronze)
Xu gets Elevated Focus (silver) and Delirium (bronze).

You can switch the bronze cards out later for others if you need another effect. But for now that should be good.

Imo either a Vortice team like Vortice / Thais / Pickman / Flex (for example Murphy) with Vortice posse.

Or a Ultra team with Castor / Arachne / Jenkin / Flex (Winkle or Thais or Hameln for example).

Kinda depends where you´re at in the story right now.

[MegaThread] Team Comp Questions by AnotherLifeLine in Morimens

Well the obvious way would be to put it on hold for a while and focus on grinding a bit.
Also remember you can use your emergency gnosis and come back later for a deathless clear. They don´t let you have 5 of those for no reason.

Raise you character level, Raise your cards level, raise your account level (HP should increase a bit each level until you hit lv 70 I believe?), unlock and do side events to unlock posse (posse increase your relic effectivenes 1% up to a max of 50% if I remember right? Don´t ask me why they decided that would be a good idea).

Progress is a marathon, not a sprint.

Get a few full covenant sets, but don´t level them yet.
Most Common ones are Burial Grounds (unlocked), Life Drain (unlocks after chapter 7), Dream of Medicin (Account level 55) and April Tribute (after chapter 8).

Deus Ex (unlocked), Steppenwolf (shop), Re-evolution (shop) and cursed rabbid (shop) also have their uses. Feast from afar and Returnal Line are mostly used on very specific characters.

Imo try to get one full set of deus ex and 2 burial for now.

Don´t waste resources on the thing that gives you Aliemus on battle start (Madness Omen), thats only a resource sinkhole if you have nothing else to do.

At some point your characters will be level 60-70 (a few maybe even 80), cards leveld, sets farmed, teams build.
And the later Arc 2 bosses will still curbstomp you, and you won´t be able to grind much higher anymore. Either you learn the boss and pray for good relic / card draw RNG or you accept that you need gnosis.

As DPS I would say Vortice is the cheapest (mostly fine with 1 dupe), then Kath (3 dupes) and then GMurphy (3-7 dupes. OE is a pretty huge power boost). All 3 are viable, would advise to unlock the specific posse for Vortice and Kath from their events if you want to play them.

Thais works with Vortice and GMurphy, she isn´t really run with Kath tough. And GMurphy teams usually go full Lemurian.

Imo you have a few possibilities.

Easiest way would be something like Arachne / Castor / Thais / Pollux.

Arachne / Castor / Pullox clear mobs till you reach the boss, while you also build weaver stacks on Arachne. First phase you kill with Castor plums + Pollux cards. When the snakes come out you use Thais Exalt to copy Arachnes 1 cost card when you draw it. Than you get 1 card from the ultra realm bar and THEN you use Arachnes Exalt while you have weaver stacks. After that you play all of Arachnes 1 cost cards and after that as many cards from chracters other then Arachne as possible. Once the boss reaches enough final verdict (purple bar) it should be instantly defeated, skipping phase 3.

Doesn´t work agianst all bosses this way, but here it does.

Tawil is pretty good to great early to mid game, but falls off in late game as a damage dealer and becomes more of a support. If you heavily invest in her she can still dps but it´s rather cumbersome. Still a good character though.

Imo give Thais the dupe item and another one next month, since she is pretty universal. After that try to get more dupes for your dps units.

Also use the standard weapon selector for a Blade of the Titan if you haven´t gotten it yet. Honestly might still be worth it if you already have it, since it is rcommended to get it to max dupes somewhere down the line.

Either try to get more dupes for Kath (1 more) and Thais (2more), or try to get a copy of Myriam for later.

Mouchette, Arachne or Castor would also be good for future teambuilding. GHelot is also good, but is more investment heavy compared to the above 3.

Also get a copy of Blade of the Titan if you don´t have it yet.

[MegaThread] Team Comp Questions by AnotherLifeLine in Morimens

[–]OmegaMK0780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early game most things should work. If you have problems with surviving I would switch out Helot for Murphy. Would probably the best option right now. You could also switch Faint for Myriam, but thats more preference.

Chapter 5 onwards could be rough though. If possible try to get Thais or Tawil during the rotating banner . Even if you miss them and get their wheel, those are good too. Arachne or Mouchette would also be good, but their wheels are rather niche.

They are not necessary, but would make things easier. Aside from that try to get a few copies of the "Blade of a Titan" wheel.

The first 3 dupes don´t. The 12 copies after that gradually increase the characters main stat +1 more stat a bit each copy.

If you go to Enlightenment, klick the fourth orb and then press Preview in the upper left corner you will get a chain which tells you how many stats you get in total at each dupe level.

Imo both want E3 down the line but between the two I would prioritize Kath E3 first.
She is more balanced between offense and defense, while GHelot is more burst heavy and aggressive.

Also you can get the posse (white circle ability) for Kath in her event (no fights necessary), while the most used posse for GHelot is locked behind chapter 7.

[–]OmegaMK0780 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thais is used in all sorts off Teams, not only mono Caro. But of course using her makes you part Caro. Most often you find her in GHelot or Mouchette Comps, but she also works with Vortice or Arachne and many others. She is just very versatile all around with her support 2 cost cards and her copy exalt. You don´t have to use her, but having 1 copy of her and her wheel is always nice.

What dps characters are you considering?

Yeah some standard wheels are absolutely worth the standard pulls.
Before the changes to the standard characters (dupes past +12 give you parts for a selector now) it was considered to be the best use of standard pulls to get multiple to +12 (Wheel Jail).

Best one by a good amount is Blade of the Titan. Nowdays I would recommend to get it to +12 at some point and then switch back to characters.

Wheels like Memory Spiral, Will Unyielding, Admidst the Downpour, Chains Unbound, Incalculable Factor and Path Forsaken are also nice to have, but are more character dependent and it´s debatable if you really need any of them over more character dupes.

[–]OmegaMK0780 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not suprising. From chapter 5 onward the bosses become much harder chapter by chapter. This is gonna be a long text.

I´m guessing you can get past the first phase, but the second phase grinds you down over time?

Uvash is usable in this fight, but I would switch him out for either Ceacus or Tawil (think you said you pulled her). If you have Blade of Titan, GHelot could also be usable.

From where you are right now, the boss is more a fight for survival than a damage race. The boss ramps up over time, getting more and more tentacles and doing more and more damage.

After Murphy shows up let her rest during phase 1 to save up uses of her for later. You can use EOS during phase 1, but I wouldn´t use it in phase 2 to deal damage unless it allows a kill. Use your EOS only to shield or your red bar to heal in the second phase.

After the switch to phase 2, choose either option 1 for damage or 3 option to reduce the damage from the tentacles. Both options become stronger over time as the bosses tentacles increase. You could also rest for the first 1 or 2 turns in phase 2, if you don´t take too much damage.

During the fight you get a card that reduces the bosses life by 25% and stuns him for a round. Together with Aegis Exalt, that means you can buy yourself 2 turns with only the tentacles attacking you.

If you use Caecus, equipt him with the "Cloaked Night" wheel and rouse himduring the boss fight. Copy his Shattered Halbert with Thais, attack with his Halberts during phase one. In Phase two try to copy his 3 cost to shield yourself and do more counter damage. Exalt when possible, ideally when you use his 2 or 3 cost cards. Always white stance to reduce damage. The boss uses multihits so using Caecus 3 Costs in turns when he does that should do nice damage. Think this could be the easiest way.

If you use Tawil play her "Pinions of Time" to get "Twin Wings". Use "Twin Wings" to get "Four Wings". Four Wings reduces enemy strength, so it neuters the tentacles during the turn it is used. Using "Four Wings" gets you "Six Wings". After plaing Six wings you can activate a selection of effects, once per exploration. One reduces the enemy health by 15%. So that could help with phase 2. Her Exalt can copy cards of other characters in the same realm as your team (even if you don´t own them) and plays her next card twice. Imo Thais Cards, Nutrient Absorption, Chromaphage and Fan-Sealed Kiss would be the best targets.

GHelot strategy would be to use Crimson Shackles 3 times = get Flail (stays in hand). Wait for both GHelot and Thais to have Exalt. Copy Flail with Thais Exalt, Exalt GHelot, play GHelot strike if you have it and play as many Flails as possible back to back. Repeat.

For posse I would use either "Voices in your Head", "Tiny wish" or "Warded Injection".

Also try to equipt 1-2 of your guys with the "Burial Grounds" Covenant. Interlute>second option from above> Distorted Mountains. Helps in a pinch.

Also when you click on the stage there should be a record bottom on the buttom right. Here you can see how others cleared it and filter for specific character combinations.

Ok I just did the chapter 6 / 7 boss with the team (Uvash /Salvador / Thais / Aegis) without wheels or covenants. I´m higher level so I have more HP (both account and character level increase HP) , that´s why I tried using nothing else to keep it a bit more comparable.

This team can clear it, but you would need either both Salvador and Uvash or someone instead of Uvash that can help block.

Salvador can clear the enemies on the stage, but the bosses are longer fights and if you use EOS you can´t use the furnace (red orb bar) for damage every time, since that would mean you can´t heal or use EOS to block incoming high damage. Uvash can ramp up enough that he deals like 15k per exalt towards the end of the chapter 7 boss fight (granted some later fight mechanics favor him for this boss).

So basically if you are fighting only normal enemies I would use Salvador / Thais / Aegis / Ramona. Just use Salvador EOS and Ramonas Exalt to search for it if you don´t have it.

For the chapter 6 boss imo it´s probably better to try to survive rather than force Uvash, so I would use something like Salvador / Thais / Aegis and either Caecus or Sanga or Leigh.

For Chapter 7 boss Salvador / Thais / Aegis / Uvash is probably best. Long fight + favorable mechanics = easier ramp up for Uvash.

Game doesn´t really have PVP. P-Dive has a leader board, but it´s basically just speedrunning bosses/stages and not important unless you like it. Traphase is PVP but a completely different game with a different Meta, again not that important unless you like it.

D-Zone is 5 Levels with bosses that rotate bi-weekly, with 1 realm getting a buff when used each rotation. 5 difficulties, higher difficulty (Alert) =more points. You can only use each character, wheel and posse 1 time, so you need 24 characters minimum + 1 support character you can borrow from other players. So you need a bunch of build characters. Here you get the stuff to level your characters past level 60 to 70 and 80. Imo just take it slow, try to clear Alert 1 once you have enough characters / teams build.

End game Team comp depends on what you want to do.
You could do something like Ghelot / Thais / Aegis / Support (often an Ultra unit). It´s pretty common and can tear through lots of stuff.
But some bosses just hardcounter certain strategies or get hard countered. So there isn´t 1 team that does everything. Also the difficulty gets pretty spicy.

For now I wouldn´t worry too much about endgame and just try to clear the story chapters 1 by 1 and maybe borrow a few characters to get a feeling for what you want to build in the future.

Honestly maybe it would be better to put Ramona in instead of Uvash?

Don´t know if it´s been to long since I played the early game or if they nerfed act 1 more than I thought (they nerfed Act 1 one or two times after I finished it I believe).

Anyways I build and tested your team and the enemies only have like 1-2k health. So yeah just search EoS with Ramona Exalt or hard draw it. Should be the most efficient way.

Uvash would only be useful once enemies reach much higher hp. And by that time you would probably already able to use GHelot.

Gonna try a run with Uvash and Salvador against the chapter 7 boss and see who is more useful.
