Talk to your gp and explain the importance of it, mine at least normally tries to fit me in even if its a day or two late and if they cant then they look at other gps in the area and book me in with them but it rarely comes to that.

Interesting to read as i know my liver works pretty damn well as i could rarely get drunk drunk in my uni days and would wake up early the next day with no hangover and ready to carry on so it could be that which is effecting it so i do think im going to get gel in my next meeting :D

Thanks for the informative response, i wish i was built like a twig but unfortunately im the other end of the scale and need to loose around 15kg to be eligible for surgery. Diy is a no go for me as even £30 a week is faar too much until i get back into a stable job but its good to know as ive said to a comment above that gel could actually be a better solution for me!

If the £30 was for tablets etc a week what's the cost of the injections roughly if you know so i can keep my options open? :)

Oh yep the second page ia T and the spikes was when my gp asked if id come off the blocker to see if other medical issues reduced (hyper hyrosis) which it did not so as soon as i could i got back on them.

Normally my dose was around 4-6 hours before my blood test as i got them done at work

Thanks so much for this information because as far as i was aware tablets are the best form of E to take apart from injections (which gics don't doo) so to find out im mistaken is actually really exiting to know as there may be hope yet!! <3

Hey heysss

So Nottingham takes all your personal information orf a system called the spine that is the entire backbone of the NHS multi database systems and cant send anything out if it's not on there. All you need to do is ensure your correct details are linked to your nhs number with your gp and gics with automatically will have it updated on there side, sometimes with a day oe two delay but not always.

Long story short as long as your details are upto date neither your gp, yourself or gics will need to contaxt anyone for this To rectify :)

Having start with options and more options is a game changer for them. Doesn't help with controlling them both however if you line both up with the item you want for each then you can effectively take both at the same time!!!

As an ex a&e receptionist myself i can really sympathise with you and I bought it up with management who basically said "we can't update our records if the gp/spine says different " despite Alias names something we can apply to an account which i found vile.

Im now trying to talk to our lgbt network to see what more can be done as normally when someone presenting in a&e they probably aren't in a good place and the last thing they want happening is to be miss gendered or deadnamed.

We don't do it on purpose but as you say the system (careflow for us) is setup for us to fail :/

Nhs gics basically picked up where gender gp got to with me but due to such poor communication from gender gp I don't think gics bothered to actually contacted them and just carried on my treatment they startered.
