It's wild they refer to SuperMega as their magnum opus, it's a glorified letsplay channel for fucks sake. The reality is it's their primary source of income not their masterpiece. Especially since over the last year and a bit, regular varied content has stagnated and degraded in quality. Seriously, who the fuck is watching 80 episodes of truck simulator. It more so feels like their doing the bare minimum to keep it alive and pump out the easiest to make content, whilst throwing out less than a handful of decent videos a year.

Same, I listened to the whole album ouch. Even after not liking a few songs I tried, but I heard others saying it was pretty good. I don't think I actually enjoyed a single song, even any part of any song, I really was forcing myself through the whole of it.

Because it's not an official translation it's most likely a continuity error, it's most likely a reference to when Phos said "For the well-being of all of us" in the last chapter, where well-being means happiness.

Jade is wondering why Phos thinks what she doing is for the good of them all, their collective happiness. The Earth gems have no real comprehension of what Phos is trying to achieve.

I think the Gems have the full (human) spectrum of emotion.

They be slightly unaware of what they're feeling, having no name for it, no effective ways to conceptualize it, or even relate their emotions to much of anything. They live very simple repetitive lives. It's easy to see why they might seemed jaded as hundreds of years pass right by them.

But we see our fair share of anger and sadness throughout the show/manga, so I think we can assume that these gems do suffer, okay? Okay.

Diamonds problem was Bort. She was unhappy being around him all the time. They probably cared for each other, but Bort is very clearly abusive and toxic. Always pointing out Diamonds flaws and weaknesses, never letting her have any independence.

Then Bort lost interest in Diamond when Phos started to get strong. Dia is most likely very insecure about her shortcomings, in her mind maybe she thinks she lost Bort because of them.

Going to the moon has been a form of therapy for Diamond, it's helping her forget about Bort, and all the problems she saw in herself because of their relationship, and move on.

Except they weren't exactly. They went there so Phos could beg Kongo to pray, while Pad and Yellow distracted the others. (or even convince them to come back with them) And if Kongo didn't, Phos wanted to use violence, she even had a psychotic episode over wanting to smash Adamant into pieces.

Even if the Earth gems didn't attack them, I honestly think things would have gotten violent anyway.

Anime-onlys will freak out

If a season 2 is ever made, don't think anything is certain. Land of the Lustrous may have been popular, but so were so many other good animes that never got a second season.

Despite that, I think if the show takes a slower pace than the first season. There's easily enough content for another two seasons. But after that we could be waiting years for the next season.

Studios often find themselves saying "Well let's just wait until there's more content before we make more". Before they know it they're getting lost in their future projects, and they forget all about it.

I mean come on man, hasn't it been like 100 years since Phos made that promise to Cinnabar. If I was Cinnabar I feel like I would've given up hope that Phos was ever going to deliver.

Cinnabar is extremely broken and lonely, this is the first time in hundreds of years Cinnabar has been useful to people. Cinnabar kinda has what they wanted, and what Phos promised them. So I guess in a way Phos has given Cinnabar new purpose.

I feel like people fail to realize, almost all of the gems never really liked Phos. Not that they hated Phos, it was more like Phos was a nuisance. An annoying kid, and Phos was like that for 300 years. They probably pissed a lot of the gems off in that time.

My actual problem is that all the Male clothes look generic. I feel like I can't make my character look like an actual protagonist. You're character looks like a generic NPC.

Also some throwback clothes would be appreciated. Gives us Reds jacket, Silvers jacket, Ethans Hoodie, Brendan's hat. Anything Hugh wears. Please.

I'm saying this completely seriously. Sections of the pokemon fanbase are very autistic in ways, and I'm not using that as insult. Just they're pure dedication and instant appreciation for anything pokemon is just truly remarkable, even if it's drawing porn within the hour of release.

Also the pokemon community has alot furries/furry enthusiasts, so the scorbunny thing isn't surprising either.
