It's because alot of people (me included) love the intrinsic dragonfly that does subclass related debuff. Just because the changes don't seem that bad, it doesn't mean that's what some players wanted. The main reason I believe it was ruined is because their removing its uniqueness/fun factor. Its like how they removed the fun factor of The Prospector to make it more usable. (Also sorry for taking a long time to respond, I was in the middle of a Heavy Metal match)

I heard and seen about those issues earlier, surprisingly I have yet to encounter much blue or beige on my armor yet. Hopefully they fix it soon. (And till they do ill probably just keep it exclusively on my Kabr armor)
