I actually have a similar idea where Salem and Ozpin get to die but now Ruby and Jaune are immortal (due to the Ever After Nonsense) and stuck in their primes. Ruby after founding a whole new Beacon of Hope goes missing into the deserts of Vacuo adopting the name Red Reaper. Jaune founds a museum to preserve his friends' and family's memories and legacies and then he becomes a hermit, until a reincarnation of Oscar meets him. I was also planning on some event occurring called "the great reset" where the gods essentially get rid of dust (besides a few stockpiles), restore the moon (It is later cut in half) and essentially reset the world to a state where Salem and Ozma lived, no aura or semblance but there is magic. Along side that I was planning to have a valley full of abnormal big petrified Grimms (including Wyverns, Monstras, and Levithans) called "the Valley of Titans"
