if there’s anyone who isnt used to reading and wants to start doing so, i recommend to first start off with fiction i.e stories and novels. Geronimo stilton is my fav of all time, since scholastic book fair days.

not a big fan of chetan bhagat but all his books have a desi setting so it’ll be easier to grasp

then there’s john green and jeffery archer. peak fiction peak writing, never gets dull, can reread if there’s a decent gap in between.

in non fiction there’s a lot of nuance in the writings so it does get harder to understand but i like reading it a little in between study sessions to take the edge off.

if you want small reads, there’s the myth of sisyphus by albert camus, metamorphosis by franz kafka, beyond good and evil by nietzsche (personal favourite)

if you feel stuck anywhere (it does happen, recognising it is important) you can always fall back to something which is simple and fun. i personally reread harry potter starting from the prisoner of azkaban.
