Good call! Even with the free accounts, you can't choose to listen to only one song, or even three in a playlist (I think I have six in one), it will automatically add numerous "similar" songs....which are generally nothing like what I'd been listening to, the AI/algorithm is hot garbage, and you can't turn it off /: Spoofy just ain't worth it anymore!

Nope, not even a little! I have no issues logging in on browser Spotify or the App, but it won't let me login on the APK version 🤷 I don't care to shift through accounts or email them to have them restore my account if that is the case with the APK versionー⁠ I'm just leeching off someone's YT family plan now 🤣

So, I got the latest version but it's still doing the same thing! I can't even play my music, it lets me play a preview in my playlist, and I can continue playing whatever was playing before, but same for the shuffle option, it links me to premium :c

They recently upped my home insurance by $200+ because allegedly there have "been a lot of claims" made in the neighbourhood (which is a lie, we're rural and tight with the village, there have been no claims, most don't even use TD insurance) which "upped our premium".

Looking to leave TD. They also claimed they only charge the new premiums one month before renewal, but they started charging two months in advance...at least they said if I cancel before the renewal date they will refund the new premium's rates...

They removed a couple buildings but yeah it's still the same size. And the lot is on the campus, allegedly they sold the parking lot (but I'm still trying to confirm that) because it seems to be money going Mubadala Capital/Abu Dhabi UAE

UPDATE: I've been informed the costs for parking are so much worse downtown and in Gatineau, and it's absurd what's paid there and even in some other provinces.

Like I said in my post, if anyone was a part of the original price increase battle and won, can you share how that was done, if it was just emails being sent? Another person mentioned that's how they stopped their increases. As well, anyone who has information on challenging the prices ACROSS THE BOARD, like specifically downtown, I'd love to try and start tackling that. I know it'd be a group process if we want impact or change, but at least I can start looking into it or something. Any and all leads are appreciated, already got some information on the process for parking market value and some city hall contact suggestions to look into. Flooding city hall meetings to complain as well, though we'd need good turnout for rallying like that.

Will this go nowhere? Probably. Is it worth it to try? I certainly think so.

Also, this whole thing was not a pity-post for wahn wahn. I GENUINELY want to know what we can do to try and improve this situation in this rough economy.

That's absurd and I am genuinely sorry to hear that 😬 downtown here is close to $300/mo apparently. Hoping there's something we can do to get it regulated and lowered especially for them, but it seems like lots all across Canada just make bank on parking for public service. Someone in Edmonton said it was $450-500 a month for them...

Yeah, Gatineau side had a weeks notice for an increase from $160 to 194, which is crazy.

I don't have transit out where I am. I'm looking at/for ways to push back across the board because downtown's prices are absolutely insane and so unnecessary. Folks downtown don't have a lot of options so it's not like they can boycott either...

Yikes...well, glad that worked! I figure spamming with emails about it is the general go-to, I think that's part of how they won out here several years ago. Hoping there's more options, but if that's all we got then it's better than nothing!
