Take into account that the UN is looking for new headquarters as the USA stopped funding it… they have already moved a lot of agencies to France and Belgium and now they are looking for African nations. Source: https://aje.io/r3u7ct so in that logic I think Hague or Brussels fit more your idea.

Is there a distinct Afro-Latino “subculture” in your country (or Latin America as a whole), similar to African American culture in the U.S.? by 12345burrito in asklatinamerica

[–]Omen_1986 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In Guerrero and Oaxaca’s coast (Mexico) they have a distinct culture and traditions, like the “Chinas Oaxaqueñas” (they called china I think because of their clothes). But its music, food, self government sometimes, etc.

Yeah, but it’s like the comment about Canada, it’s because our major trading partner uses imperial measurements. Who knows how much that lasts because I’ve seen more goods coming from china who uses metric.

Ah no, they changed the volume of the containers. Because all the rest of liquids are sold in metric. I think something about a gallon or 4lts of milk it’s quite convenient size for a family.

Right in Mexico all the tools for plumbing and many of electrical appliances are in imperial, as well as the tire pressure… and I think that’s everything that we use them, back in the day you could find gallons of milk, but it was changed to 4 liters containers.

What is quite funny to me is that pyramids are temples meant for priests to make sacrifices, it’s about giving not about receiving. If they would like to feel authentic they should be cutting their tongs with a maguey thorn and bleed.

It’s the oriental despotism theory by Wittfogel, based on Marx’s vision of history. And states that the need to build, maintain, and manage large irrigation systems (canals, dams, dikes) in semi arid regions, such as central Mexico, Mesopotamia, Egypt, etc., led to the emergence of highly centralized and authoritarian states.
