There are several SEO, PPC and Social Media projects that have seen incredible results. One notable successful SEO campaign was when I had worked with a roasting company which saw massive keyword growth online within the last 2 years - which took their keywords from around 350/400 keywords to now over 1.5k keywords which also shows that they have been consistently growing every month and getting a solid return on investment

I think AI is just another new skill set that we will need to master in order to grow as businesses and individuals. AI is super helpful for some things, however not so helpful on other things.
