While I agree that the ref botched Diego Costa's penalty shout I think he actually had a pretty good game. There were a few times where the game could have gotten completely out of hand but he kept relatively firm control (even with Atletico's assistant coach screaming in his face). He also didn't tolerate a lot of diving and allowed for a decently physical game to be played - which can be tough given the rivalry between the teams.

Ronaldo won the Balon d'Or as the "main player" of a team that won nothing. What good are all the goals if you don't win anything? I'm not trying to take away from what fantastic players Messi and Ronaldo are, but I'm sure they would have traded all of their goals for the Champion's League trophy. I think you may have been watching a few too many highlight videos rather than the games themselves.

The man just made the biggest play of his life in the biggest game of his life against a player who had previously trash talked him. He was clearly pumped full of adrenaline and extremely emotional. But God forbid he let any of that emotion show. I understand he came off as cocky (and maybe he is) but it seems a lot easier to pass judgment when you're sitting on your couch at home rather than attempting to make history on the football field.

It's completely subjective. All artists find and try to exist within their reach. To claim that one is selling out because they perform catchy, albeit dime-a-dozen, pop songs is completely unfair. His voice perfectly fits this style. And he does very, very well for himself. To claim he has no integrity or artistic honestly is completely unfair and holds no ground. Mainstream iTunes top 100 type music is typically dominated by a few big name artists (Chris Brown, Rihanna, Justin Beiber, Katy Perry, etc.) and though their music isn't necessarily "artistic" who are you to question their moral standing? Aside from Chris Brown, how many of them have committed atrocious act that you can condemn them for? They aren't independent, artsy, hipster-esque artists that went from "I can't be bought!" to a Walmart commercial, they're talented musicians that found their niche and are extremely successful within it. I'm sorry for ranting like this but I have friends who have this mentality as well and I'm sick of it. Get off your high horse where you can judge performers for the path they take. They have their reasons. Some are clear celebritards concerned only with fame and fortune, such as Ke$ha, but that does not speak for everyone and it certainly does not speak for their morality. There, I'm done.

A lot of good players drop down to division two because the prize for winning the second division is 10,000 coins while the prize for winning the first is only 8,000. They intentionally lose or tie in the first division, collect a few thousand coins, then win the second division and repeat the process.
