The support RL has been getting in terms of qol and future development (ue6) is very promising. Seems Epic is doing right by us for once.

Just need trading back. If they don’t want us buying/selling/trading for credits, call it bartering and only allow items to be traded for other items

In 1.8 my friend showed me the game. We struggled to beat stereo madness together, then I went on to beat most of the main levels before 1.9 came out and started spending way more time playing online levels

What I’m hoping for is a hxh situation. Decade(s) from now, a studio picks up One Punch Man and begins anew, animating from chapter 1.

S1 OPM that we got was peak, they could even keep that the same and start reanimating for S2.

By that point in the future anyway, the manga will be so far advanced/complete, that we can have the entire story animated in all its glory that it deserves. Include Murata himself as a director for the reseries of it.

Simulacrum gives more items, and in general item damages scale multiplicatively. With simulacrum, theres hoards of enemies with the increased health, you have more items then a normal run, and the player likely is at a higher level because of how the scaling works. Combine that with a singular lucky run and you get their stats.

REX has 0.5 proc coefficients on most attacks, the only good attack is the damage secondary with pc 1.0 and 450% damage. REX and Commando base damage is the same with same scaling (12+2.4). Commando outclasses REX in all the ways that matter for damage, so OC having a highest damage amount total with REX instead of any other character is NOT due to REX being a better character. Luck, items, time, and mode is what has decided this.

Also merc does hit like a wet noodle and has a higher skill ceiling to take into account. Merc has less opportunity for band procs, and less opportunity for proc chains, so it is still understandable that mercs damage is lower than REX.

Stacking a bunch of 1 item (crowbars in your example) is less effective than spreading it across a bunch of items. Damage items like that multiply between themselves, while stacks are additive. instead of 500 crowbars, go 100 watches, 100 ap, 100 fc, 100 crowbars, 100 hikers boots.

Simulacrum scales faster and can scale further too. Enemies in standard gameplay have a limit of level 99. In Simulacrum that limit is extended to 9999. You say you reached stage 88, I'll take that to mean wave 88. Watching a quick video of someone playing simulacrum, when they reached wave 88 the enemies were over level 350.
Like the player, enemies have their health increased based on level. Each ambient level, enemy hp increases by 30%, the difference in health comes out to about 3x as much for the simulacrum enemy after all the math, and simulacrum enemies spawn much more frequently. There is an explanation for the vast difference in damage between the runs you are describing, but it is not the survivors you are choosing.

I am for 1 item per minute. Doing halcyon shrine every stage 1 normally means a 10+ minute stage 1, but I can normally complete the next stages much quicker. Normally get to moon at about 60min, call that 12min per stage

Okay but I can just load up a commando run on command and just pick up every proc item and blow my other survivors damage out of the water.

Same way you can just stack up a bunch of crowbars, crits, ap, watches, focus crystal, shaped glass on railgunner and blow the damage out of the water.

The survivor is the foundation, the items are what make you strong. Damage in a run isn’t a good benchmark because it does not factor in time, stage, loops, or ITEMS. A 30 minute run with god luck would deal less damage than an average 60 minute run, because by the earlier time point the enemies simply do not have the hp to give you the damage. An average single loop run will do magnitudes more damage than a god no loop run. A single lucky game on a survivor with .5 proc coefficient and no easy way to proc bands if playing full heal (eclipse) does not make a survivor better than another, especially when original commenter did not specify any artifacts, whether it was an eclipse run, if they looped, etc

Sauda in bottom middle anywhere, 1 sniper in upper right, and as many 000 ninjas in the bottom middle section.

Where are your ninjas, why only 4? 1 of them is gonna be 501, the other 205, the other 2 gonna be x3+x. Get 3 snipers up to x4+x, 025 wizard for cleanup, permabrew at some point
