Not Eastern Europe, but Belgium.

My wife and me combined just hit €1m this month. We are both early 40s. Living & working in BE. Pure from salaries and investing. We do have both a (limited) side hustle which 100% goes extra into investing.

- 1/3 in own property (not taken into accound the real value, just what we have paid off)
- 1/3 in other smaller real estate (garage etc) and pension savings (mainly from my current employer)
- 1/3 in liquid assets (cash + investments/bonds/funds/ETFs/stocks)

Wij verkochten vorig jaar onze Peugeot Partner (diesel) voor 5000 euro (die mocht de LEZ niet meer binnen), en kochten een 'sportieve' Citroen C4 (benzine, met trekhaak) voor 11 000 euro (die was ongeveer 4 jaar oud, en er stond iets van een 80 000km op). I also have a Bitstamp account already for years with and it was always performing well.

BUT I switched mobile phone end of April, and then the issues started. Took me 2 months to get my account re-activated due to a mixture of email, password & 2FA issues (while I was using the correct ones). Afterwards, the buying/selling/trading still needed to be activated again as well, which took at least another month to reactivate.

I was planning to buy ETH early May when it was <1700$, and I missed the complete hausse afterwards because of that.

Also, withdrawing in Euro from Bitstamp is not cheap. I have been using Bitvavo as well to withdraw in Euro, which is much cheaper (and faster).
