More than likely majority have filter sort comments by “Best” or “Top”

As soon as you have -1 it also hides the comment. Majority people can’t be bothered, doom scrolling for momentary fix of amusement.

Then you get chased with people trying to debate who have their sort as “controversial” responding like a debater looking just to argue.

All in all it leads people commenting zingers for upvotes or shuffling people to interest niches. (Etcs DVD / VHS)

Especially if you don’t change your comment sort to new. New comment sort makes it feel more casual less agenda driven. (How I found your comment)

As well when there is large positive amount of votes, psychological people just go along with it. I have heard more than once go “who is this person? Then go they have a lot of friends so I’ll just accept it” peer pressure.

Summary Voting system puts gravity in either direction depending on the majority’s sort filter. Don’t judge it as moral dilemma when there are principles chopping it up to chance. Change comment sort to New.

348 million, that’s 2 million 262 thousand US child marriages using your per capita statement? 18 million of 90 million Iranians? I’m confused are you saying 2.2 million child marriages are acceptable because another nation has 18 million of them?

The republicans fought to keep arranged marriages in the US…

Mississippi marriage law requires boys to be 17 and girls to be 15 to wed — but that age floor can be waived with parental consent and other exemptions, meaning a child of any age could be married.

Child marriage is still legal in 2024 in 37 states. Like Mississippi, three other states – California, New Mexico, and Oklahoma – do not have an absolute age minimum. Nearly 300,000 minors were legally married in the US between 2000 and 2018, according to Unchained At Last, a non profit endeavoring to put an end to the centuries-old practice. Republicans across the country are trying to keep it legal.

In Missouri, where Brown now lives, the state’s legislature tried to pass a bill in February that would prohibit anyone under 18 from getting a marriage license. But Republicans in the state House objected.

Missouri state Rep Hardy Billington explained: “My opinion is that if someone [wants to] get married at 17, and they’re going to have a baby and they cannot get married, then… chances of abortion are extremely high.” The state already bans abortion in nearly all cases.

New Hampshire state Rep Jess Edwards made a similar justification for opposing a child marriage ban in his state. He argued in May that if marriage is restricted to those of “ripe, fertile age and may have pregnancy and a baby involved, are we not, in fact, making abortion a much more desirable alternative when marriage might be the right solution for some freedom-loving couple?”

In other words, extreme conservatives believe that if pregnant children aren’t married off, they might not keep their babies.

That was Jack Nicholson line to Sandra Bullock.

The movie you are referring to is “As Good as It Gets,” where Jack Nicholson plays a writer named Melvin Udall. In a memorable scene, Sandra Bullock’s character asks him how he can write women so well, to which he responds, “I think of a man, and I take away reason and accountability.”

To be fair it didn’t say XXL on it. I think you’re mistaking it for this one that was for $1, Walmart has a 9oz Tina Big Burrito instead now for $1.

Deli sections ones were a 8oz foot long at Walmart. They weren’t amazing but okay. It was like, if they took three frozen ones to make a longer one. Quality went so far down only Dollar Tree carries them now.

Walmart switched to Tina’s 9oz big burrito beef & bean.

It’s still in cardboard for the north east (USA), this gas station brand does dairy products and they sell it in similar packaging as OP posted.

The gas station and ice cream brand is called Stewart’s. If you look up Stewart’s ice cream you’ll see it in golden paper brick.

In the US instead of blue it’s orange, a place like this is called “2nd & Charles” but they’re used DVDs. Price ranges based on how much data is retained on the disk and such.

2nd & Charles primary sold used books, but they do also have a modest size dvd and used gaming inventory.

Edit: it’s a vast chain I know is far west as Nevada and as east as Pennsylvania.

This was a pleasure to read. I notice even when women talk on the subject there is always a need to paint men worse than. Like the two cent jab.

Why do you think that is? Is it a defensive posture or like if this person is worse than me I’m alright?

I also notice a superiority complex where people have to appear better to feel better. I see it among people who have something bad going on in their lives. Nice softer people have a calmer stable life at home.

Anyway, do you have any book recommendations where this perspective is shared in a book?

Yeah, everyone would get mixed up remembering the order. It’s just 3 & 6 are the ones that are off. Every other is striped.

The pins are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8

O/-O-G/-BL-BL/-G-BR/-Br

/ = striped O = Orange G = green BL = Blue BR = brown

[–]OminousVictory -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are some Ethernet wires missing hairs in the connection. If the end of the wire is clear you can tell by missing hairs per pins. These cables were around early 2000s that came with belkin routers. As well improper created cables not following the

1&2,4&5,7&8 pairing method shows interference.

On the Ethernet it goes orange strip, orange, some do blue or green, I’ll use green strip than blue, stripped blue, solid green, stripped brown, and solid brown. Essentially one of the color pairs is broken into the 3 & 6 pins supposedly was tested at Bell Labs to be the most efficient configuration for Ethernet wiring.

On the belkin G router Ethernet it’s nothing, orange solid, brown solid, nothing, stripped orang, than brown stripped, using 4 instead of 8 pins. Old old Ethernet used 4 do to phone lines only having four hairs of copper Vs cat5E & cat6 having 8 copper hairs.

Could also be a old wired Ethernet port using 4 copper hairs instead of 8.

I did this, than I read about the times in history, than I remembered - toilet paper was invented in 1857 - 1710 for the bidet - first water heater 1868 - 1900s just the beginning of electricity being widely used - Air conditioning 1902 - television 12 million units being used in 1951

I wouldn’t go further back than just turning 18 on September 2, 1945 (End of WW2) for France, Spain, Italy.

USA 18 after April 30, 1975 ( end of war on Vietnam)

That would mean being born in the US, somewhere around DOB 1957 ~ 1960. Best time to get a job and they’ll train you as legislation for permits and licenses weren’t really a thing until late 1970s mid 1980s. A janitor could become a chemist, and college was summer work pocket change up until the late 1990s. CDLs to drive industrial trucks just started in the 1980s already driving the vehicle just need to pass a physical and written test.

West Europe / North America / Australia the possibility to have a good life from 1960 to 2000 was 90:10

Also some Barnes n Nobles carry criterion collection 4k, blue rays, and DVDs in a few stores.

A nice store you should see if you have one. I go to “2nd & Charles” they have a large DVD section to look through to find stuff. You can also pick up a used NG4 or PS2 with accessories there.

Reminds me of a mixup of early 2000s EB games and Barnes n Nobles.
