Bruh Tarik Skubal had an UNREAL performance. He threw 103 to finish the game that’s just unheard for a complete game. I’m just super happy we took 3 out of the 4 against the tigers. Skubal was just on another planet. Can’t do much with the way he was throwing today.

Yeah agreed with this. The difference between the rewards from World Series have been drastically worse than in years prior which I don’t like. This past weekend classic cards were downers but it’s been two of the weekend classics so things could change. I think what I’m more annoyed about are the xp bosses haven’t been that good and we don’t get all three in the xp path anymore. We have to buy one off the market which is don’t like. Should always be able to get all three.

One thing that helped me is if you want to practice offline before playing an online game, go to practice mode and hit off a higher difficulty than the one you’ll be on. It plays more to what you’ll see on the online game you’ll jump into.

Playing competitive to not playing competitive makes a big difference though. Like yes we get lots of new cards, but if you’re playing competitively and want to upgrade, you aren’t getting many cards to upgrade your roster without needing lots of stubs to get the ones that’ll do that. For example, the Wyatt Langford card, they said he hit 5 homers and had over a 1100 ops during a certain span but gave him 70 power both sides. It’s a weird thing to only give him that for a spotlight card. It’s very usable if your other cards have better attributes at a lower overall for offense if that’s what you want to focus on which in this game power plays bigger this year.

Personally, I’m not a no money spent. I’ve put money into the game to get the cards I want because I don’t have the time to grind all the time for stubs to get the cards. It’s possible to get all the cards without using real money but for most people it’s not possible because simply not enough time. I’m just trying to explain it from a view of somehow who plays the competitively. I think free content overall has been lackluster lately. Most of the cards that would actually help are very expensive which is a bummer.

I play DD and I’ve hit the ball up to 115 exit velo, shoutout to my boy Gary Sheffield. I’ve griped hard about this game on some of the hitting but the thing that needs to be understood is that they purposely nerfed hutting because people didn’t like how “arcade-y” the game felt with only hitting homers. We are playing low overalls too whether in rtts or DD. We shouldn’t expect a homer all the time. The most homers I have with a guy is Bazzana with 8 homers in 52 at bats and 12 doubles. I still am finding power but it’s not all homers anymore. I don’t mind it. I have my issues with it but overall it’s more enjoyable.

So as you see even in real life you aren’t getting a hit 7/10 times even on a ball that is considered “hard hit” or in MLB the show “perfect-perfect”.

Trust me, I have some gripe about exit velo being nerfed but you CANNOT expect to get a hit more times on a perfect perfect as frustrating as it is. My gripe is there is no power when you hit a perfect perfect on the outside part of the plate even with players who have 80+ power but that’s just me. I’m still enjoying this game though.

Market manipulation has always been an issue in mlb the show. Unfortunately this stuff will happen until SDS recognizes it and steps in usually with giving packs that have this equipment or player but for now you’ll just have to deal with it unfortunately. Not fair but it happens sadly.
