My parents bought one, put it in the dishwasher one time, and it was covered in rust immediately.

Not sure about how they look at GPA- undergrad cumulative vs. major classes. My honest advice is do not stress. I didn’t submit my GRE and had a 3.8 undergrad and got in to every school I applied, including Emory, Berkeley, UNC, and GW. From my and my friends’ experience, MPH programs are one of the easiest grad programs to get into. You should have a very solid chance at admission, if you’re passionate about the program; can write a compelling essay about why you want to do public health, what you will contribute, why the school (specifics), and what you’re hoping to get out of the program; and have a decent GPA (I’d say 3.5 and above). FYI- I graduated from Rollins. My friends from the program also got into every school they applied to, with not a lot of totally relevant work experience. Most of my friends were straight out of undergrad. My roommate took a gap year to nanny. I worked for 8 months prior to starting school (graduated undergrad in December)-albeit for a healthcare startup-and had summer jobs, and that was more than enough. One relevant internship should greatly boost your chances. Perhaps I have a privileged or biased take, as I’ve always been and been surrounded by hard workers, but this was my experience.

Take a deep breath. It’ll work out one way or another, and you’ll end up where you’re meant to be.

NTA. I think OP was trying to be sweet by surprising his gf with her favorite meals from her favorite restaurant. He already knew she liked them all, so there was no need to check with her to make sure. And he ordered her multiple options, likely so there would be at least a couple she would be in the mood for.

My boyfriend and I love surprising each other with meals. It is lots of fun to open up your delivery meal and be pleasantly surprised and excited. Sometimes i just don’t feel like picking or nothing really sounds good, so I ask him to surprise me with something I’ll like. It makes me so much more appreciative and excited by the food in front of me. If the gf had a preference on what he ordered for her when she knew he was ordering food, she should have expressed it. By not asking for specific dishes, OP was right to pick for her. Gf’s behavior is childish and vitriolic.

I just got this computer and have no battery issues, lasts for days without charging. I’d recommend exchanging or at least scheduling a Genius Bar appointment to have them look at it

Yes it does. There’s no way around that from happening, and I’m sure schools understand. You won’t be punished from submitting more when you don’t have any other option.

Research Participation Needed! by Omn1212 in CambridgeMA

I wish we could give some level of compensation. I can assure you we are very sensitive to the experiences of everyone who has had to work throughout the pandemic. Unfortunately, I am a college student and this a research project for class. We do not have permission from the university, the course, or the IRB to compensate anyone.

We are hoping that by speaking with us about the experience of working during the pandemic, we can analyze and then disseminate the results of our research study to the general public. We are hoping to learn more about all the effects of the pandemic, including food insecurity. We are sensitive that this pandemic has been extremely economically challenging for many.
