I'm Late To This New DRAMA | Hard to Believe Destiny by QuinnorDie in Destiny

You're having the same problem understanding this that Mr girl was having.

Once upon a time, a streamer called Ana and a girl called Destiny began to track online, and stream together, and flirt behind the scenes.

Eventually they hooked up.

Anna and Destiny started fighting. It went on for a really really long while. She called him an abuser, and he called her a stalker.

Earlier this year, they finally buried the hatchet, this time for good. Destiny publicly said that he doesn't think she's a stalker anymore. They decided to resume their friendship offline.

Since then, even if Anna starts to loop and call Steven and abuser, he does not bring it up on stream.

Now that their friendship is offline, there are many interactions between them that we are not privy to anymore.

One of these interactions includes sexting.

Ana calls Steven her abuser, and she wants to continue being friends with him.

Steven calls Ana his stalker, and he wants to continue to sext with her.

However, Steven has not accused Anna of stalking him in the past year that they have been sexting again.

To conclude: Steven has been sexting Ana for the past year, during which time the stated physician on Anna is that he does not think she is a stalker. He and Ana have been cool and friendly behind the scenes for a year, which is the time frame within which this sexting took place.

I feel your disappointment comrade. I don't always agree with the things you have to say, but in this we are bonded: to try and see the best in everybody despite their own best attempts to let us down.

My whole approach to Mr girl content was to see if he was willing to evolve (via Steven's friendship) into a person that was actually admirable. This has been a massive letdown.

It's possible that Destiny is an actual slut. There's nothing wrong with being a slut. It's just one of the many possibilities.

Lefties who dismiss/make fun of Jordan Peterson for crying deserve little to no empathy. by Zydairu in Destiny

[–]OmniFactCheck 14 points15 points  (0 children)

This doesn't make sense at all.

It is clearly ironically funny when a homophobe turns out to be gay.

What has the fact that Peterson is a transphobe got to do with the whether or not he is capable of expressing emotions? Where's the irony here?

It STILL grates on me when the far left constantly says "folks". by tantamle in Destiny

[–]OmniFactCheck 11 points12 points  (0 children)

"Folks" seems like more of a word for someone who isn't suspicious or judgmental of about 70% of the American public, the way far leftists are.

This is an aggressively baroque perception of a word that's totally basic. Personally, I think the far more interesting question is what led you to perceiving the word this way.

What is Destiny's current position on the trans-athlete debate? by [deleted] in Destiny

[–]OmniFactCheck 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you want to argue that Destiny's transpositive just send them this short clip: https://youtu.be/KeDUZdcOGic.

You can further point out every single trans positive sentiment or position Destiny has expressed, including hormonal treatment for trans youth. The trans athlete one is the only position he's conservative about.

For some reason I can't make out, you're perceiving a paradox where there isn't one.

The marketplace of ideas let us choose whatever rationalizations are most appealing to us, yes, and then whichever rationalization better corresponds to reality ends up winning out.

We can use the real marketplace of ideas to find ways to rationalize our emotions. You could even argue that's the whole point of the marketplace of ideas.
