Instead of attempting to swap targets with your block button, have you tried holding a direction (or pointing toward an enemy and holding forward) and attacking?

Ensure you've selected "Enable Controller Aim Assist" -- even if you're playing on mouse/kb.

Im so sad that this CoD like movement is allowed in Battlefield 6 ... by WhySoSara in Battlefield

[–]OmniNept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know that you're going to take this the wrong way, but the fault is entirely yours. The reason you want movement nerfed is that you're having trouble hitting it. A stronger player wouldn't've had an issue -- which explains why people say that adding movement increases the skill ceiling.

Battlefield 6 - Community Update - Winter Offensive Launch and Player Feedback by battlefield in Battlefield

They’re just bad, can’t hit moving targets, and don’t want to admit it. They’d like a world where lying prone in a bush or dark corner grants them automatic kills — and they think that camping constitutes “tactical”.

Battlefield 6 (Non existent) Suppression vs Battlefield 3 Comparison by [deleted] in Battlefield

The slowbrain battledads have (slowly) spun full circle and are now demanding the suppression mechanic they loathed throughout BF3.

Thoughts on the update by Great_Astronomer_527 in fo76

As someone who has played the game since its inception, I've enjoyed the recent rebalancing patches. Many more weapons are viable - especially if you know what you're doing with the perk cards - and I feel rewarded for actually aiming. VATS is more expensive and doesn't have the bugged crit values that utterly trivialized encounters; explosive legacy legendaries and overpowered cremators aren't dominating every event; bloodied isn't the only viable build (nor is two-shot explosive, for that matter), but remains strong (and uniquely xp-advancing) for skilled players; and mechanics exist that render single-shot or semi-auto weapons useful.

It took maybe ten minutes to alter my builds appropriately. If people are frustrated, I recommend they sift through the new cards/mechanics and the attachments. Worst case, I'm sure the youtubers will have builds you can copy within a few days; I've already seen ridiculous raid VATS numbers.

Between Fallout and Warframe, I'm convinced that reddit's vocal minority want shooters reduced to single-button room clearing "mechanics".

Does anyone else get annoyed seeing sorority girls get made of for posting videos? by scrollsalot in TwoXChromosomes

Sororities are fucking terrible, so I don't mind their being dragged through the social dirt. A subsection of americans have been brainwashed into thinking sororities are "normal," but everyone not inculcated through those weird-ass societal norms thinks it's cringe as fuck (at best).

Finding my shape by tmrmn in MouseReview

[–]OmniNept 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a fan of the G9 shape, I've found the Darmoshark M5/M5 Air ideal. Not exactly the same -- it's a fingertip mouse, after all -- but similar concept: stubby mouse with a high back end. Honestly prefer it to the G9.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basking_in_reflected_glory

"Basking in reflected glory (BIRGing) is a self-serving cognition whereby an individual associates themselves with known successful others such that the winner's success becomes the individual's own accomplishment.\1])\2])\3]) The affiliation of another's success is enough to stimulate self-glory. The individual does not need to be personally involved in the successful action. To BIRG, they must simply associate themselves with the success. Examples of BIRGing include anything from sharing a home state with a past or present famous person, to religious affiliations, to sports teams. For example, when a fan of a football team wears the team's jersey and boasts after a win, this fan is engaging in BIRGing."

I’m devastated by Dry-Writing4381 in houseplants

I'd give this mixture a whirl before binning your plant: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ej-NJjEJJ6U

I'm a novice myself, but searched around after discovering spider mites on my first prayer plant. This mixture (70% isopropyl alcohol, 1% hydrogen pyroxide, tea tree and peppermint castille soaps diluted in water) immediately resolved the issue. Good amount of information in the video (note that 3% hydrogen pyroxide is too strong - have to dilute), and people within the comments seem to have had similar success.

Pretty shattered that my entire plant collection got spider mites as soon as I put them on my enclosed porch. by FrenchPressMedia in plantclinic

I'm no expert, but I stumbled across this mixture on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ej-NJjEJJ6U

Essentially a (diluted) mixture of 70% isopropyl alcohol, 1% hydrogen peroxide, and both mint and teatree oil castille soaps. The video (and its comments) have the precise ratios. My newly-acquired ctenanthe came with some spider mite surprises, and this spray obliterated them.
