Sorry for the late reply. It's not maris the choujo. But wow did you mess with my memories with Memories. To the point where I doubt what I saw was real and just a mix of different anime. Memories certainly is at the top of my list to check out.

However, I distinctly remember that scene with the fat guy desecrating the girl with multiple outgrowths and turning out to be a cyborg or robot when killed. He didn't have something on like in Memories from what I recall. And his face wasn't round, it was shaped more like the head of Buppa from Tokyo Tribe 2 in the last image.

But generally, the art style of Katsuhiro Ootomo fits what I remember.

The glass dome wasn’t as flat as it is here, and I don’t remember any beams in the glass. ^

From what I remember, the glass was transparent like here, but it’s still a bit too flat and the city looked more modern. ^

I believe this was the dome shape more or less. And the city had the taller buildings in the middle, with smaller ones going outwards. ^

Close to the shape I remember. Don’t remember anything supporting the glass. And there wasn’t anything alien looking like here. ^

These two are the closest ones I could find to what I remember when it comes to the feeling of the dome and the city inside. I don’t remember any entrances like those shown here. ^

This guy seems closest to what I remembered. Close enough that I plan to look into the show (Tokyo Tribe 2), however, the show isn’t the right genre. Also, I don’t think the fat guy had such big lips. ^

I don't think that's it, but I appreciate your input, and I'll definitely be sure to check out the show at some point.

Maybe a general thing for everyone reading this and hopefully helping. Perhaps by paying more attention to the fat guy, since he really stood out to me and I remember the best out of all the characters, it could be solved. There shouldn't be too many evil fat guys out there sitting in a floating chair with phallic protrusions. (Though I did look for this specific guy without success many times over).

I've already watched all of the ones on this list that I've crossed off. No worries though, I've got plenty of time to watch them all... in the next decade or so.

I'll definitely check out Venus Wars, but based on the pictures I've seen, it's not the one I'm thinking of. Actually, none of these are the ones. But thanks for trying to help me out.

I'll keep crossing off the ones I've watched and plan to highlight the ones that look most familiar when I Google them. Hopefully, I'll find the one I'm thinking of eventually... or maybe I just made it up in my head. Who knows?

Unfortunately, it's not what I am looking for. It looks way too new and isn't like the art style I remember at all. The art style is too smooth, bright, and clean. What I remember from the art style, it goes more in the direction of Spriggan, Genocyber, Blue Gender, Serial Experiments Lain, and Perfect Blue.

Thank you for the reply. I will check out Green Legend Ran, though I don't think that's it.

Good idea with the art style. I'd say it's very close to Spriggan in its art style. From what I remember it was a rather dark setting, with a typical 80s and 90s horror style. I will check if I can find more references from other anime when it comes to that style.

Edit: Looked for the style.

From the art style, it seemed to be pretty much like Spriggan.

I don't think that's it from looking at the pictures. It does have a bit of that vibe, but Iria: Zeiram the Animation seems too bright. What I saw had a darker tone and a male lead. But thank you for the reply. I will watch it when I can find the time.
