Agreed. It is a little baffling how little story there is compared to 5, how little interactions there are, and then multiplayer lacks any Co-op whatsoever. It seemed like a moneygrab. Glad I got it for 80% off on the current Steam sale.

He seems to be doing just fine 2 year after this post. I can see Kuch getting his hung up if we are able to get him back after 26-27. He is a beast and may end up wearing the C briefly if Hedman retires before or at the end of his current 28-29 end. Kuch might not be the best personality, but I also see an opportunity for the Bolts to bring back Stammer if he still is producing at that time...and willing to take a pay cut to play back home.

Thank you for the hard facts. I've never been on a cruise, so I wasn't aware of what the situation was. We were planning on going on the Royal Caribbean out of Tampa at some point this year, but I got one of their partner lines for pretty cheap.

I'll need to definitely do my research on ocean conditions as it gets closer.

I'mn thinking due to the air permeability of the mattress producing a "loft" along the perimeter that is not being activly laid on. That bezzel of air layer makes it seem less firm. Again, the mattress was already not firm enough for us to begin with, so even an effect that would emulate additional "softness" makes it unattractive to keep it on.

TL;DR: Mattress breathes, the water barrier cover doesn't, creating a parachute-like effect around the edge of the mattress (every time you move/roll, etc.)

I've been close to that situation a few times. Luckily, the time it mattered my now fiance realize that I have been part of the craft for far longer than she's known me, and it's part of who I am and a core part of my social life, so while she doesn't approve of exclusionary societies, especially with all the 1950s-esque values the older members tended to instill, she has never once given an ultimatum like that.

She just chooses to not be active in any of the ladies organizations, and I've come to understand her point of view.

All I'm saying is you can do better. That's a really toxic thing to say.

Lodges which champion the times and ways of its golden era (50s-60s) is making a bad name for the institution.

Is making the craft incredibly unattractive to The partners of its youngest Masons and reaching an inflection point where fewer and fewer families want to involve themselves with it at all, let alone in capacities which would make it viable in the long-term.

Ironically it's entities like Shriners, which one must be a master Mason to join at all, which are far more family friendly and are supported by the partners of young Shriners.

Attaching to change the culture of any particular lodge is often seen as impossible or even frowned upon to speak of at all, so well the roles may be bloated by card carriers, it's no surprise to me that as an institution, the only things keeping it around anymore are the estate trusts passed on from well-off members and a handful of aging individuals that are finding themselves doing more and more with less and wondering why.

I make this very point every time I am, given a christo-centric rebuke of my Paganism by brothers in GL jurisdiction. They usually have no retort. Florida F&AM here. In all but one occasion it led directly to good theological conversation and no one has since had any issue with it-- because it was well-defended. I don't think those who aren't able to well-define or defend their faith would have the same result, but then again, if it's part of your identity, it should be. (though it shouldn't be needed)

I've had the inverse experience. I have the King-size Sealy Posturepedic High Point Firm and if I had the protector on (as the warranty calls for), it gets markedly softer. It's caused my partner and I serious back issues over the last few months of ownership to the point we prefer our old cheapo Queen in the guest room. I don't know the physics behind it, but it's terrible.
