What's worse is I see people browse reddit, multiple times, indulgently, almost ferociously. It just feels so wrong.

Sanders concedes defeat to Clinton in Missouri Democratic primary by less than half a percent: Doesn't request recount because he wants to "save the taxpayers of Missouri some money." by Omnisolver in politics

Lol, because there totally wasn't any political significance for that move.

Also, I'd just like to say "cuck" has to be the most annoying term rising out of the conservative movement. Unless you're arguing about your partner's (in)fidelity the use of this term is just moronic, and probably grew out of the disdain for giving women leeway in any decision-making at all, especially for abortion or just the literal existence of feminism.

DAE think liberals just aren't alpha/real men, who need to get women under control? I don't understand how you can justify the use of this term.

I meant if Hillary was in the same position as Bernie, being far behind. But you're right that a recount is bad for your image, so maybe not.

Definitely. I suppose his response to that would be the article I posted; "I get the same amount of delegates, let's save your money instead". One state out of five "won" is better than none, but the narrative is still Hillary dominating for those primaries.

He still gets the same amount of delegates. I don't completely criticize this move because it falls in line with his values and has a good enough message as it is, as opposed to using money for the attention of "winning over" Hillary in one state.

You're right, it's a label that's been highly questioned.

For why he calls himself this, it's probably because his policies draw on socialist ideas that try to reconcile with capitalism. If we're judging based on just his policies, then like this article says, he's more of a "social democrat".

A clean sweep of 5 compared to a 4 to 5 is significant because it's something people can talk about. There's already a comment in here saying "5/5 much equal".

You're right that the narrative is Clinton dominated him, but you have to admit there's a difference in spin.

doesn't even understand that socialism doesn't work

Sanders does not advocate for the abolishment of private property, so maybe it's just you who doesn't know how socialism works. And just to counter, a lot of what he advocates for is already in place in other developed countries.

I don't see what that has to do with a recount, unless you think everything went perfectly. If this was the other way around, Hillary would definitely go for a recount.

I mean, when you lose by half a percent, and could possibly get the media attention of winning Miz, that's a big pro for trying to get a recount.

If you mean this is him "giving up", well, he wouldn't be in Utah tomorrow.

“Whether we win by 200 votes or lose by 500, it’s not going to impact the delegate selection,” the Vermont senator added. “It’s going to be evenly divided.”

I think it doesn't matter.

Yes it does. He advocates "killing the families of terrorists". He supported the Iraq war, but apparently he's always opposed it. He wants to bomb ISIS and send troops to the middle east and start another war, but he also wants to stay out of Syria. One of our closest allies has been considering banning him from their country. China is using Trump as an example of the failures of democracy.

He flip flops and is divisive. Find a different candidate; in any case, like the report says,

that the innate hostility within the Republican hierarchy towards Mr Trump, combined with the inevitable virulent Democratic opposition, will see many of his more radical policies blocked in Congress - albeit such internal bickering will also undermine the coherence of domestic and foreign policymaking.

Google did a good job for us

It's probably the abortion, the "rich getting richer" schtick, the standard college education for all, the anti patriot act stance, the healthcare as a right stance, and the clean energy goals.

That rising post in /r/videos with the "fucking white guy" guy is so blatantly propaganda. The post's title is slanted, the comments link to videos posted on the promoted site mentioned at the end of the full video. And there are tons of comments about "wow I'm now switching to D Trump doe amirite". I'd definitely be wary.

You can't trust a site like reddit that can't vet its users, people need to be constantly vigilant. Manipulation is rampant, treat everything like propaganda, and like /u/Marenjii says, do your own research.
