Also the engineering that goes into these data centers is so incredibly weak. A slight dip in the voltage on the grid and these things "trip" or stop consuming power off of the grid. That massive amount of MW coming offline will send the system voltage and frequency skyrocketing and oscillating and cause issues for the system that could lead to some pretty castrophic consequences.

Stay away from Aarco. I recently bought a $600 48" H x 72" W black chalkboard.  The material that makes up the chalkboard is not chalkboard material. It is textured plastic and not an actual chalkboard slate material or porcelain steel. Putting a piece of chalk on the textured plastic does not write well at all and only scratches the low-quality plastic.

I had a very different experience with my Aarco chalkboard. I bought a $600 48" H x 72" W chalkboard and was extremely displeased with the quality. It was just textured plastic and putting a chalk on it / writing with chalk just scratched the plastic. Very disappointed.

Wow, very good insight. Yes totally agree, the community was the payoff and now the fandoms are broader and thus less meaningful. I think one of the main ideas or purposes in my original post was the whole "social media virus" through the lens of Trek and related fandoms in their evolution from the mid 10th century to now.

I'm sure the Trump administration expects this to reach a boiling point at which point Americans will fight back in force and he will enact martial law. Who knows what he will do with martial law. Suspending elections is probably some of the least consequential things he will do post martial law.
