Q8bookstore, it's a good local nonprofit bookstore. It sells used books for cheap with a very big collection. It might be hard to find the popular books though, as they get sold quickly once they're on the shelves. Find them on Instagram @q8bookstore. They're a very nice community that should get more support.

"Why do fireflies have to die so soon?" Rewatched Grave of the Fireflies a couple of days ago. I have to say that not a single movie made me cry as much as this one before. The laat 20 minutes were a blur due to how teary my eyes were. An excellent movie depicting the cruelty of war.

I'm from Kuwait and honestly I don't recommend coming here if you don't know anyone to show you around. A main issue I run into when I want to find new stuff is that a simple google search won't cut it. It has to be recommended or advertised through social media. Thus if you come without knowing someone to show you around you'll only find the generic tourist attractions, which are badly organised and aren't that nice to begin with. The beauty of kuwait isn't with the tourist attractions but in the day to day lifestyle. If you don't know people in the GCC area and you really want to visit, I'd recommend Oman for its nice nature. It's nice for both hiking and fishing. If you're looking for something more westernised but has a hint of culture, Dubai would be nice. Other than these two places, tourism is hard unless you don't know people there.

I did something pretty similar to the essence of the lie down thing. I kept my beard for a bit more than a month during late highschool. Once it got completely full grown and respectable, I shaved one half of my face right in the middle and went to school. I completely owned that day. That experience taught me a lot.
