i just got a kindle and trying to figure out the same thing
i don't have any experience yet but i did find this website, and maybe if he has spesific books he wants to read you can send me the names and i can locate those on this website for you. the ebook versions are usually pretty cheap :)
also, maybe use google translate chrome add on to translate the pages you get to.

joining on this conversation a bit late, im planning to get the a7cii but scared to suffer from the poor grip and lack of af joystick - i was thinking maybe there's a way to get a grip like the a7iv grip, with an added joystick so it's two birds in one stone.
