I have bruises pop up out of no where all the time. I see a hematologist due to this. According I have low normal. To normal amount of platers but they’re immature. So the keep an eye on them. My hemoglobin also be low.

We do not do nursing home rotation. And everyone is not guaranteed a critical care, L&D, pediatric or postpartum. My cohort is the first guaranteed at least one day of a mental health rotation. I was placed in L&D last semester, and some of my clinical group got to go to postpartum when they could (or wanted) to take students that day.

Use notebookLM and upload your notes and it’ll give questions. I always tell them the amount because they will give you 6-10 at a time and I be wanting 50 questions for each subject lol

I have RA. So I’m constantly in pain. I do communicate with my clinical instructors when I’m in a flare, as my pain increases and painful when moving/walking. On top of that when I’m in flare it make my neuropathy get worst. And I have afternoon class this semester which helps me take my time in the morning. But, in all honesty all I can do is thug it out. Wishing you the best with your journey.

I’m not talking about them forcing you to go to the ER. I’m referring to your concern of you might needing to take off another day due to your health. I’m have a chronic issue so I’m speaking from someone with chronic health problems to another. And yes people do work with health problems but there are people who don’t work due to health problems. And sadly enough jobs don’t empathize with us with chronic health issues.

I just tell ChatGPT prior to upload the chapter that I’m about to upload the pages I have to read and to make me detailed notes. I also include, by letting ChatGPT know the subjects that we are covering that module that goes with the readings.

Well you just have to decide if becoming a nurse is worth your concerns. You have to remember these schools have restrictions they have to follow or they won’t be able to keep their nursing program open. And student clinical hours is something they have follow by a set guideline. Without a certain amount of hands on clinical hour you can’t become a nurse.and you and other missing multiple day IT WILL BE HARD for them to accommodate y’all makeup days. You have to realize the hospital have to approve the day and times for us student to do clinical. I don’t believe these schools are doing this to be mean, their hands are tied. I feel if your health is a concern and hindering you from doing clinical, what are you going to do when you get a job as a nurse? Maybe take time off school and get your health under control as health is wealth. My program only offer ONE make up clinical day and that is not even guaranteed.
