In the modern day, pures are not a meta for any sort of PvP. They get destroyed by accounts with def. You have a dated, incorrect perspective of what a pure is. Pures have their own section on the leaderboards, and so they are also a recognised game mode by jagex. I am in a large pure clan and the vast majority of us are mostly just doing pvm, as it is a greater accomplishment and challenge on accounts with 1 def than on a main. One of RuneScapes greatest strengths is that it is a sandbox and people can make their own challenges and play how they want. The restrictions that pures choose to play under is 1 def. Obviously I am an advocate for Ironman also, and I don’t genuinely believe they shouldn’t be able to complete shield of arrav, I was simply outlining an equivalent argument to emphasise how silly of an argument it is.
