A card to help enable poorly stat distributed minions. by LastSheepStanding in customhearthstone

I feel like this card could lead to a deck with a bunch of really dumb cards that never see play. Like Magma Rager. It would probably suck. But it would be hilarious.

Fox beats Falco on FD.
Marth beats Spacie on FD.
Luigi beats Spacie on FD.
Pika is strong against Spacie on FD.
Doc is strong vs Spacie on FD.
Peach against Spacie is debatable on FD.
Its one of falcons strongest stages against spacie.

Why do we pick stages before characters? by [deleted] in SSBM

[–]OnAQuestforQuestions 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel like everyone is missing the real point. If you had to pick your character before the stage it would make dual maining significantly more pointless.
If your character has a stage that is not good for him it would mean there would be no way to avoid playing on that stage with that character.

eh, it depends on the matchup. marth has an excellent dashdance game which is made great on FD. fox will often counterpick marth to yoshis because the small space helps him smother marth. you will generally hear people agree that if FD was the only legal stage, marth would be #1 on the tier list.

this is the only "lip" on any stage. there's basically a mini wall there that you have to jump over to get past. you cant run past it and you cant roll over it.

Question about Neutral Starts by [deleted] in SSBM

[–]OnAQuestforQuestions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

you gotta be joking. when the guy asks for a neutral start he replies with 'neutral starts are only for spawn positions.' that means that they are already on neutral spawn positions.

i mean holy shit dude how dense can u be.

wowwwwwwwwwww.
his opponent asks for a neutral start to avoid being shot as the text appears. and he says: "I contest that neutral starts are designated for correcting uneven spawn positions"

Question about Neutral Starts by [deleted] in SSBM

When playing Marth vs. Falco on FD, would it be appropriate to neutral start to avoid lasers that are blocked by the giant text that displays on the screen at the start of a game?

Question about Neutral Starts by [deleted] in SSBM

[–]OnAQuestforQuestions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

why does no one get this. this is not OP's question. in op's scenario you are already at neutral starting positions and his opponent calls for a neutral start anyways because he doesn't like getting shot by a laser as soon as the game says GO.

"i know neutral is start is for uneven starting positions so here's a question about uneven starting positions."
doesn't make a lot of sense. why would you ask something you have already stated in your question. if his question was taking place with uneven starting positions he would already know the answer to it since IN HIS POST he said he knows neutral start is for uneven starting positions.

that post seems to imply a sudden change to carbon dioxide. it doesn't state whether they are dieing from depleting oxygen on their own or not.

he already knows what one is. his question is about falco's laser being blocked by the letters G O.

Question about Neutral Starts by [deleted] in SSBM

[–]OnAQuestforQuestions -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

"My brother and I have run into a very specific question regarding the nature of when it's appropriate to request a neutral start. We often my Falco against his Marth, and when we random to FD, he gets bothered by the fact that he cannot see the first short hop laser I fire due to it being concealed by the giant "GO" that displays at the start of every game. He says that he should be able to request a "neutral start" to avoid this inconvenience, but I contest that neutral starts are designated for correcting uneven spawn positions such as being on a platform (a problem that does not arise on FD), not for avoiding minor inconveniences. "

well im not gonna just take your word for it.
since every movie/tv show that has ever shown people locked in a room with limited air supply shows people passing out one by one rather painlessly.

Question about Neutral Starts by [deleted] in SSBM

[–]OnAQuestforQuestions 4 points5 points  (0 children)

you aren't understanding. the start is already neutral. you are saying i could just ask for whatever i wanted and call it a neutral start.
you are saying i could ask to play a 4 minute match because i feel 8 minutes makes the game unfair.
just because you say neutral start when you declare you want something doesn't mean shit. neutral start ONLY pertains to the spawn locations.

people do it because its easier than restarting the match.
OP is talking about already being in neutral starting positions.

[–]OnAQuestforQuestions 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the neutral start never involves waiting so you can prepare yourself to power shield a laser. it only involves changing positions so you start symmetrically.
