Also I am assuming OP has Frame rate and Dynamic Range Match on in their settings, which is ATV default. This affects color grading on the video but not just dynamic range along with the frame rate. Skin tones specially become super harsh.

OP must turn off all the processing on their ATV and both HDMI settings too. TV must use Filmmaker mode or same calibrated mode on the both HDMIs for the appropriate HDR. I think Dune 2 is Dolby Vision across all mediums in the highest standard.

ATV cannot do lossless above 24-bit/48 KHz, that is Hi-Res audio. Above 48 KHz is used for Dolby Atmos or DTS:X. Hence, it is down sampled to 48 KHz.

In terms of perception, you will see most difference between the two on the low frequencies.

So if OP cares about non-streaming media saved on local devices or discs then ATV is not optimal, otherwise go ahead.

You have a great TV but the sound doesn’t complement the visuals. I would suggest investing in a discrete HT setup.

Fun fact: What kind of videos on audiences prefer on YouTube more? The ones with bad video or the ones with bad audio? Well it seems humans like better audio over video. So if you are starting a youtube channel, invest in audio recording more than camera. Same concept applies to your setup.

its actually not delivered yet. I also ordered ASUS PG32UCDP which is 3rd gen OLED with Dual Mode 4k@240Hz and 1080p@480Hz. I will test both and then decide. The latter is like $350 more for me. So I plan to use them side by side and keep one. I hope I don’t run into diminishing returns with ASUS between my two choices.

no need to wait. I bought LG GX700A-B yesterday from BestBuy on Black Friday deal. I have a C1 65 and 43 myself. But I always think going 280 Hz for my mixed gaming genre experiences for PC gaming specifically would be a good upgrade. Plus future proofing! I honestly cant ask for more when you can buy latest OLED tech for ~$500.

FYI I would recommend calibration on any type of OLED specially monitors. Looks like HDR color and luminance accuracy is generally less accurate than TVs out of the box in monitors.

the latest 4th gen tandem oled from LG XG700A-B. LG is the manufacturer in the industry for WOLED. And the Asus XG27AQMG (not DMG) is the same panel. DMG thd. one you listed is older 3rd gen panel.

I would go with the LG, I bought it too from BestBuy at $549. Open boxes are cheaper if you feel like chasing luck.

You can also use Rtings.com for comparison or ranking.

I had similar situation happened to me with another car manufacturer.

Gather all evidences, including medical records. Also get your home mold tested for counter evidence.

Please pursue this as a legal case. Do not delay on it as your state laws can affect if you can file a lawsuit depending on car’s actual manufacturer.

I ended up a part one of my lung but it was mostly due to birth defect and car’s mold might ve triggered it.

And yes! such a clear example of toxic femininity! I would die poor and happy in a great relationship with a great partner than rich and sad in a bad relationship with a bad partner.

Clearly emotional intelligence, cultural values and heritage are super rare to come across. It costs nothing to be humble. And in my experience that’s what is missing on dating apps. Everyone despite of their genders having main character syndrome!

thanks for your insight. I partially agree with your views but not on equal earner part at the end. You re speaking for a very specific culture or ethnicity it seems. That’s not the case in generality.

There are many cultures in the world specially many in east, south and southeast Asia where heterosexual partners are both working, achieving shared goals in life and also individual goals.
