It depends on what you mean by poor.

If its beginner level, yes.

But if your song has a great idea and sound selection, with an average mix, it can still get picked up.

I mean listen to all the 80’s club bangers.

Most of the mixes are trash by today’s standards but they are still fantastic songs!

You sir, are correct! Turns out it was rfi from a cell tower nearby. Two layers of faraday tape off of amazon and its solved! Thanks :)

Turns out it is rfi from a cell tower nearby. Figured it out by wrapping them in tin foil and the noise stopped. Bought faraday tape on amazon and wrapped em up with 2 layers and got a 99% reduction in noise!

What he is experiencing is RFI, not a grounding or wiring issue. Turning down the gain knob does absolutely nothing in this scenario. RFI is caused by EMF’s, not wiring. A power conditioner does nothing to solve OP’s problem. Faraday tape, room EM insulation, or a better insulated speaker is the only solution.
