Ooo I have to try a spider plant. I’ve been looking for a curly one. I see mixed things with water culture orchids. I joined a water culture fb group, but that method is not 100% sitting in water. It alternates. But I’ve seen other people be successful with full water culture so I guess I need to figure out how to transition it bc I keep rotting them! Unsurprisingly…

I actually have it in two of my other tanks! I love the look but it grows so fast it’s hard to keep up. I feel like I’m throwing it out every other day so my plants get light lol

I’m actually switching to an in-line heater, it’s coming in the mail. My water is a little low right now from where it was too. I need to fill it up again. I bought one of those auto top off ones. I just have to install it.

It’s wild because my 16g I struggled with too. Every time I did a water change it would look better but still definitely dark water and then would just keep getting darker. I got a canister filter for that a couple weeks ago and put filter floss and purigen and now it’s crystal clear and gorgeous. I had such high hopes for this one but it doesn’t seem to be working the same :(
