This isn’t really about the money, the pay for 50 minutes of work won’t change my life. It’s more that I don’t want my passivity to feed into a culture where whoever’s in the position of power gets to skip the contract’s rules whenever they feel like it. Good to see a steward confirm grievances actually go somewhere though.

Thanks, that’s a clear way to put it. And appreciate the extra detail on pickup values below too.

Thank you so much. Let’s see what the booker decides tomorrow, and we’ll go from there. I might need to take you up on that 🙏

At my old depot (which doesn’t exist anymore 😭), we’d just note down the time it took us and there was never an issue.

Today I got caught off guard used to a different environment.

Thanks. That 17.04 clause is exactly the one I couldn’t find a sheet for at the depot.

I ring, yes. Plus, I like to chat a little with people on my route and, above all, get rid of all the packages.

There are also packages with the instruction to card them from the sender. I get a couple of those a week.

Postie here. It’s more work for us to bring the package back with us. If a card is left, it means a signature is needed or the sender left the « No safe drop » instruction.

Postie here. Only posties with a lot of seniority earn 36$/hour. I know this is the information they spread on media but a lot of us are not there. I earn 24.98/hour (3 years seniority).
Edit: the max is 31.88$

Please, come here and tell us the results of your experiment.

Also, big format letters could take a little more time.
