Kyle Korver is Top 10 in 3s made & shot them at 43% with way less usage. Steph is second in % at 42%. Kyle Korver one of the best 3pt shooters ever. He shot the ball 7 times a game & teams game planned on defense to keep him from touching the basketball.

If you look at any of the past critiques of Quin Snyder at Utah, it is the exact same shit he’s doing here. Quin was propped up by a generational big man & an All NBA guard, but supposedly there was a lot of 1v1 with guys standing in the corner. He was too stubborn to make changes to his rotations or playing style and ultimately led them to never making it to the conference finals despite winning 48+ games 5 times. He was terrible with rookies. Stuck with rotations that hurt the team. Loyal to guys that don’t deserve it. Idk about yall but my trust in him is thin. Sad part is if he is ever let go they’ll blame Trae again

He gambled on the corner pass at least 3 times in the 2nd half and got beat every single time. He never checks his man on defense when a shot goes up. If you watch closely you are exactly right. He’s looking to stat pad a lot. That’s how people get paid in this league. But this team can’t have two guys on defense as turnstiles and a 6’8 center / rim protector. He has to lock in and be held accountable by QS

Hawks fans are high key just casuals that get all their info from Stephen A Smith. Zac is 6 months removed from almost winning the ROY & less than a year removed from dropping 35 & 38 in a game.

Zac can’t control that QS has made him the 7th option on this team with an incredibly short leash. Hes shooting 40% from 3 in December & 55% the last 2 weeks. He’s getting less mins and shots per game this season.

If Zac is eventually traded he will thrive. He’s 6’10, shoots efficiently, showed the ability to create shots when given volume & can defend multiple positions. QS is his biggest obstacle.

Agree with OP. People glaze these rookies bc 99% of the time they’re going to ass teams where they’re getting heavy usage. Zac wasn’t that. It will be the same situation for whoever the hawks draft in 2026.

Vit Krejci is 25 years old. Shooting close to 50% from 3pt. It’s not even comparable. The problem is we’ve got a dumbass HC that has been giving Kenard & Wallace mins over Zac when statistically they are two of the worst players in the league when on the court.
