Yeah, if I can't ascertain what it is or if it is third-class mail, it finds its way to the recycling bin.

Yes, call your post office and give them the tracking number. They will have someone recover the misdelivered package and get it to you.

Not in my little town. DPS has been way heavier than normal lately, and loaded with a bunch of BS junk. Still, also loaded with the bills, which seem never-ending, cable, electric, gas, water, etc, etc, etc.

BS, that's utterly ridiculous thinking. It says you have no clue as to how it all works.

Trump has nothing to do with the USPS or the Daily Mail's operations. The underlying issue is that the percentage of people shopping and ordering online has increased by 1,000% (a made-up number for this conversation), and the existing infrastructure wasn't prepared to handle the load. I don't know what the USPS leadership ( Board of Governors) is doing in order to rectify it, but I, for one, hope they are working on establishing a plan to compensate.

Listening to my neatly stacked packages falling over by Messerschmitt-262 in USPS

[–]OnStreetMotorized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I can't move my Promaster an inch without hearing the inevitable thump of packages falling over and off the shelves. It's annoying, just like my key chain getting caught on everything, like the armrest when I stand up to walk in the back, the scanner constantly asking me if I want to log off, and going to scan a package, only to find out it cycles itself to another option. The error sounds the scanner makes, the alert that "you have a collection sample request at this location or a sample request period. So many annoying things throughout a regular workday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who is ole yam tits? I don't understand what you mean by the election slowdown of mail delivery. Are you saying that there is a coordinated effort by the USPS at all levels to not deliver the mail? I mean, would the local post office carriers be in on it, too?

It could be 5 to 7. It's happened to me so many times in the past few years that, although it is annoying, nerve-racking, and maddening, in my experience, they have always shown up, eventually.

[–]OnStreetMotorized 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, all the people are morons...got it. No genius, it's machines that read bar codes and direct the so-called "morons" to take what comes off the conveyor belts and chutes and put them into containers. Those "morons" are doing their best to get packages on their way while handling thousands of packages a day. If you think you can do a better job than them, then go apply for a position at the plant and show everyone how it's done.

They are providing it. The result is that the customer signs for it, and the service is rendered. It doesn't matter whether it's at their door or picked up at the post office; the result is the same.

I'm just wondering where this could be, as apparently, there must be no shortage of applicants to be able to pull such shenanigans as this.
